I think we all like to look our best, their are some good products on the market for skin care.I believe in taking care of ones self, that includes taking care of my skin.
No! Im my line of work I hear men of all ages ask about what to do about lines and wrinkles. In fact many ask about what to do about all sorts of skin issues.
EagleWoman: No history of arthritus in the family. My parents are 78 and 80 respectively and still go dancing
(although my mum has bad back result of carying heavy weights on her head when young woman in south of Spain)
My Maternal grandmother took care of herself till she was 90 odd and lived till mid to late 90's!!!!
My grandmother suffered arthritis and my older brother has it sadly but no signs of it in me, as yet ! My parents have passed, my mother two years ago at 84 and my father died 27 year ago of Leukemia at only 63 yrs.
Great to hear your parents are still dancing at that age.

Sorry to hear both your parents have passed away and your dad so young.
We like to grumble about the old folk and their set ways but I will really miss my parents when they're no longer here!!!

Hi there life, hope all is good with you?. I have to agree that good skin firstly comes from nutrition and a healthy diet. I drink lemon juice in warm water also as it has a good cleansing affect on the skin, and always start the day with green tea.

Some people have naturally lovely skin, it's genetic, I think you are one of those, an English Rose
I want every inch of my body zapped with lasers. No more moles, no more spider veins, no more spots, birthmarks or keratosis. Then I want some fairy tats to cover the scars.
lifeisadream: Skin is the result of your health and the nutrition you get. First step being the food you get, quality!.
I do care about my skin and I do use some natural and non-expensive treatments for my face and body along with good nutrition and some exercise.
That's true, but some stuff is genetic. Keratosis, cystic acne, moles, birth marks, skin tags, etc. Sometimes I get those milia thingys. That's probably dietary and genetic. My mom gets them too. I went on diet food for a month once and my face erupted like crazy the whole time. That was not good. people say to keep out of the sun, but one time I was in a Renaissance faire outside 12 hours a day two days a week all summer, and another time I had a postal carrier probation trial. Both times, My face cleared up and was never clearer. How messed up is that?

Thanks lovely lady! just busy with work. I hope you are fine too. When it comes to skin care, each one of us is a mistery to solve.

Totally right you are, Genetics is a big factor. I have had removed some moles with laser but my daughter has had removed many of them, she has to be checked frequently because some of her moles could mean some danger. She also has some keratosis (mild) in her arms but a cream with some urea helps to diminish it and on top of this she has a small scar in her face (she got biten by a dog-pet) and the Dermatologist can erase it with the laser but my daughter does not want to spend her time on this.
I hope you can identify what is good for you and your skin and stick to it. It might be the sun and/or the good time you had with your activities.
When my daughter is having school tests she gets skin problems.
Take good care of yourself.
Chococherrie I hope you get the right treatment for your knees. Take care please!
