House Roll Call: Vote on Libya resolution

The 268-145 roll call Friday by which the House adopted a resolution declaring that the president shall not deploy, establish or maintain the presence of units and members of the United States Armed Forces on the ground in Libya, and for other purposes.
A "yes" vote is a vote to adopt the resolution.
Voting yes were 45 Democrats and 223 Republicans.
Voting no were 135 Democrats and 10 Republicans.

Scientists have given mankind many blessings, but the discovery of the gene for Left-wing behaviour must be foremost among them. For now there is a diagnosis, there can be a cure. Just think of it – a quick screening of the unborn infant, a mild course of gene therapy, and hey presto! The disease can be eradicated within a generation.
Perhaps we are getting a little ahead of ourselves. But even if science falls short of an outright cure, it should still be possible to ameliorate the symptoms. The gene does not automatically make the carrier a Lefty; rather, it triggers the adolescent brain's reward mechanism in the presence of novel experiences and viewpoints. The treatment is simple: lock teenage sufferers in a drab room, furnished with the works of Hayek and Friedman. True, their social skills will be somewhat stunted. But the benefits will last a lifetime.

He also just said this.....that the support troops in Iraq should be the first one's withdraw. Presently they are the last. Doing this leave them exposed to and encourages attacks.
Clearly Sect. Gates sees things differently than the White House. But that is why in America, one were each can his own opinion. And you not being called some "some movement that hates the guts of their own countrymen" by those around you.
We leave that kind of demeaning for for people that so called friends of America................LOL............

She has seen the poor condition of his army....on leave the house, she encounters General Washington and his staff....she proceeds to give them a piece of her mind.
In 1700 Europe, such a piece of mind would like get you to the gallows or the block. Layette was startled the Washington took it so calmly and respectfully. Here the Commander of the America forces was tasked by a mere woman.
Dude has no grasp of this concept. That freedom of speech give one the right to express it. And if done in a civil and non threatening manner...direct it anyone you please to.

What was GWB's invasion of Iraq if not another way to protect the people of Iraq from Sadam? What was Sadam doing the to the Kurds and Shia? Pretty much the same thing that Qdaffi is doing. Assad is doing. Moubarrak was doing. Ali was doing.
Yet GWB is the poster boy for anti liberal ranting. At least he did it with a Congressional approval of his military actions. He put it to the people's congress. Were as....President Obama did not.
