Are you asking if communism is possible in the purest sense of definition? As a global political system? Or simply, is it possible? For if the latter is your question, of course it is possible for it already exists! But not to its professed doctrine,...but in the corrupted form we see. And the EXACT same can be said about democracy,...and any other political structure you wish to mention. Imeprial Rome existed,...yet imperialism fell,...it did not fail. So, to answer your question,...since communism as a political faction and entity exists on this planet,..its possibility has already been answered, Redefine your question,,....

Communism was never meant to be a dictatorship that it turns out to be. It also kills inititive thus will always die a slow death over decades.
