I am not trying to come up with ideas to cripple myself Robert. If somebody has health insurance, they may have to do a horse-plant though. So many beauty of ideas you have.
Ready! I gather from your comments, especially at the end of the last one, the lack of the family structure and the spirituality is a driving force with the way things are today. Not to mention, the high amount of drug usage. I totally agree with all that. It is almost like the whole "glue" structure that held us together is now being removed.
Now I am a bit confused with your statement about women once feeling safe. Are you saying that in the past they felt safe, whereas today they don't? If that is what you are saying, what do you think was the driving force behind them leaving these "safe" places? Would you say the message that media has given them convinced them to leave that area? Are you saying that women can be somewhat persuaded to see things from perhaps a false angle?
You know, the lady in the videos pointed out that a man and woman's brains are different. The women in the crowd she was speaking to did not especially like that statement. But from what I have heard, a man has more of a logical deductive manner when making decisions, where women use more of a emotional structure. I am not saying one way is better than the other, but there seems to be a difference between a man and woman's brain. Not to mention, there was a female Harvard professor that wrote a book about the woman's brain...title exactly that. She mentions that there are differences with women's brains.
Anyway, maybe you could clarify the confusion I am having.
Maybe you can start with feeding us spam. Ruin our health...or is that stuff healthy?
I don't know, that is what that lady was saying in one of the videos. She noted how an early notable feminist of the late '60's wrote about that. Perhaps we can try and contact her.
Okay Ash, it is 3:48 here and I am getting tired. I would like to give your messages some careful attention, the attention I do not have at this moment. :) However, I look forward to get to them shortly.
That is very reassuring that you are very well able to make up your mind about your beliefs. Although I have no absolute proof, but I almost wonder if the teachings and ultimately instilled behaviors that the extremist form of feminism is not like the boiling of water with the frog in the pan. But from what I have seen personally, there are many instances where the younger generation seems to be taking things to near extremes. Maybe the up and coming generation may take things to the next level.
Anyway, I appreciate your thoughts and sharing them. They are very well founded and grounded. :)
With that elected Polish gov. official, that is really uncalled for, in my opinion. That is just not a great message to foster family cohesion.....any countless other aspects of humanity.
I do see where you do not condone the extreme spectrum of feminism...
But, I think it is possible that some of these, in my opinion, negative extremes could slip into the perceptions of some women who are still perpetuating the feminist message.
I did get a chance to read your responses on the other blog.
Thank you for sharing your point of view. From what I see, there are a lot of valid statements you put forward. I think the danger might be polarization between the genders. That would be a shame.
I just have a moment here before I need to head out.
First of all, I would like to thank you for sharing your point of view. Your point of view I agree with 100%. From reading it once, I would not change a single word you used.
However, the only issue I have with it is that it does not really address the changes in society that the message of feminism is giving. The feminist movement is providing a message to women and how they should perceive their place in the world.
Depending on what feminist message you listen to, this will determine just exactly how moderate or how extreme your position should be.
Maybe I am biased because I am a man. I will admit, being a man and the extreme feminist view of eliminating 90% of men does seem a little unsettling. Or, not even to that extreme...because we can tone it down a bit and just, I am unsettled because I am a man and I am hated for that. Perhaps, lets just tone it down from there, because I am a man, I am judged more harshly in the legal system. Of course, this list can go on a bit.
I think this is the concern about feminism. Again, the videos that (free) shared have some good information.
That is really the overall point of this blog.
Again, what you say is perfectly put in my opinion and spot on.
Mr. Twist-her
K....all. It might or might not be time for me to try this experiment.Take care. :)
