lind Perhaps women are more careful in their decision making and look at others and not just the needs of herself...a good attribute to have when leading a nation...
lind I have no preference on gender when it comes to politics but I would like women to be more involved...perhaps others feel the same...considering some countries don't allow women's input or allow them to think...if the Western countries are open to this idea perhaps this could lead others to show more kindness towards women in general...meaning that women are persons, can drive and can have an opinion that matters...the list goes on...I believe that with exposure to our views will lead to some kind of understanding...so a female leader would help greatly in this area...tolerance I mean...
obs I think it is good to be opinionated but why drag a woman's body part in this discussion?...there are few women in the political field in comparison to men...why else is it a big deal for most citizens when people of colour or women get elected in a position of power...

luke The death penalty may not eradicate change in this current problem...they (drug lords)find ways to alter outcomes...governments are certainly not trustworthy...or for that matter law officers...it comes down to greed...I know you have shared your stories about this problem like where you live...but perhaps the lack of opportunity is the real demon in regards to people opting for this lifestyle?...one should question the inequity of society regarding wealth and education and prosperity...sometimes poverty breeds this way of being...
teena If this is a natural phenomenon then so be it...Vancouver is usually wet, cold and dark even during the day time...no BFD...not to mention the Northern countries such as Norway that experience darkness...it is just their reality...
lind I would hope women will be in power one day...putting more emphasis on humanity and environmental concerns and rid that male sense of entitlement that is plaguing the world...whether it be greed or the need to dominate...it is about time women had the power to shape/reflect our desire for a more kinder environment!!

ek Well said!! teena It is not fair that women are not in control...men feel the need to control women based on fear...so it isn't surprising that women are not involved in politics as much as men are... Hilary Clinton will probably try to get elected leader of the Democrat party coming up soon...so there is still hope for women to be involved in politics and not be in the shadows sort to speak...change in behaviours takes time...progress is happening!!
ken You are correct...a variety of food is what makes us healthy...anything in moderation I think will keep people from becoming obese...that and exercise...
