I don't know you or anything about you other than you are over 40 and have children. You might want to think about living in a country that you might like to retire in! Then you can build your future! Sometimes we go thru phases and dream of where we might want to live. I believe you are doing the right by exploring different areas where you want to live!

Johnny, one of the things that helped me, was having a bag of spice drop candies in pocket at all times until I was free from the urges. Every time I got the urge, I would pop a few candies in my mouth and it would take away the urge.

A couple of tips I learned and they work:

If you drink coffee and smoke at the same time, quit the coffee and go take a walk and breathe deeply!

Spicy food can and will bring on the urge to smoke!

I hope this helps everyone who smokes!

Thanks! Yeah, I saw my father suffer from smoking! He had lot of trouble breathing the last few years of his life! He was put on a breathing machine until his heart gave out! Sad to see someone you love die that way!

Hi Cat,

I had a guy who didn't smoke show me some medical pictures of a pair of lungs. One lung dark brown or black from smoking looked like a well done bbq steak. The other was white and clean from not smoking. That really helped me make up my mind!

Sometimes a picture is worth a "thousand words".

I met the mother of my children in Los Angeles, in a single's group, that I was the president of. I kind of had the pick of the litter but I chose the wrong one. We had 5 beautiful children. They have a great mom. I have nice ex-wife!

Where I live in Wisconsin, we got about 4 or 5 In. It started snowing again this morning. So I don't know how much more we will get. As the saying goes...March comes in as a lion and goes out as a lamb! I sure hope so! Very tired of winter!
