Hello 2Bback,wave ,and you too Dreamcatcher, and Miclee, wave
I met my former Girlfriend, thru a mutual friend at a coffee shop.
We bumped into each other numerous times, shopping, in restaurants and so on... after a few months we were chumming around. She was always working ,helping her kids out , too, too much, and it put a strain on a great friendship, doh I m happy we re still friends, but somewhat upset over the fact, her helping her grown kids out was mostly over stupidity, Life is a lesson,
this was one time maybe but sorry baby the Spanish have turned it into a hookup joint I rest my case,

your blogs are good may god always bless youhandshake angel
Met my ex online, in a chat room to be exact.

I met the mother of my children in Los Angeles, in a single's group, that I was the president of. I kind of had the pick of the litter but I chose the wrong one. We had 5 beautiful children. They have a great mom. I have nice ex-wife!laugh laugh
Dreamcatcher, hug I still see my friend, about once a week. She works up the street ,a little ways. she stops for a quick coffee, regularly. We re friends, but not as close as we used to be. I admire her work ethic. Everytime I get to thinking theres something there, shes off and helping her 2 daughters, so I quit getting my hopes up. What I find somewhat ironic is her kids, are well off, and very capable girls, maybe just lazy, confused

Back in my private caterer days I needed someone to run bar and catering for a hospitality suite for a major rugby game, and a mutual friend suggested him. Client loved him and he said he would do any sporting events out of working hours whenever I needed him. For the next 3 years, he was my rock, never let me down, even took over the Toto tour when my other function manager exploded and walked out. Toto not the easiest band in the world, BTW.

You have any idea how few people you can really trust? teddybear

Lol
Here's a tip. Just simply trust someone.
People WILL do what's expected of them.

If you demonstrate to someone you don't trust him...
he will prove you correct...and be untrustworthy.

If you simply trust him...he'll do what's expected. Proudly.
This is simple...but astonishingly effective.

Hi 2B,

well, one of my exes, she was fishing, and her then BF was fishing on the other side of the river.. far from her. I talked with her a moment, asked what kind of fishing bait she was using, and she said,

"You know, my boyfriend takes the best bait for himself.. and then He always ends up just giving me the worm. I want something more than just a little worm."

That's when I offered to help her with something more, and the rest is history. She left her BF for me.. a rather quickly I might say. laugh rolling on the floor laughing

Good to see that there is no HATE just mutual respect..
wine pointing for you
I met her at a different site. It took me a few attempts, sending her the simple message "maybe". Eventually curiosity got the better of her and she wrote back- Maybe what? and it went from there.

I met my boyfriend in a group when we met up with a few people for coffee. I didn't make it for about 3 month (had a college course on that night of the week) and was looking forward to catch up with some of the girls.

We meet with about 8 people, I mainly chatted with one of the girls and a guy I had seen once before, but never talked to. I noticed that he was bright with a cracking sense of humour, but didn't think that thought any further. conversing

Got a text with a polite question about something he needed locally the following week (well, that was the excuse to get in touch). Thanks for the info, and would it be ok if he sometimes texts and says hi? Text away! grin

We run into each other for the next month about once a week and always ended up chatting for hours, we both noticed that we were being very much at ease with each other. That was how it started. flower
Hi,2B;

I met my Ex by an introducer--one of my old female classmate. As I didn't want a guy doing the same job with me at the same company. So introduction seemed the only way for me at that time...hug wave
That you all for sharing your experiences....
We have all done it once of a couple of times...
And we can do it again....

teddybear teddybear

With me it was a customer (drop dead gorgeous may I add)
that brought a TV in for repair....LOL
It had a big hole in the screen....from a argument with his ex..

Got chatting about women that would go on a date just for a free meal... I said if I asked someone out I would pay for the meal... so he asked me to ask him out... twice...blushing

So I did.... heart beating

Two months later and he found out his ex was 3months pregnant... so had to let him go and do the right thing...

My best friend introduced us. Even though it didnt last Im glad it happened.

It was just what it was.... glad it happened....
Glad it did not... grin
