RE: I Challenge You!

OMG there's that appalingly happy girl back again.
Though given the subject of the thread maybe she should change her name to incontinentinBali.

Just kidding.

How are you? Still dileriously, blissfully ecstatic with your partner?

RE: shy girls

Conga is right. Pillowtalk is the fastest way to learn a language.

As for shy girls...its the quiet ones you have to watch out for!
I love 'em personally.

RE: Polygamy?

If you love your woman you don't need any others.

RE: Polygamy?

what is the worst punishment for polygamy?
Multiple mother-in-laws!

RE: NINE PARTS OF DESIRE

I love movies but the written word is king. Books are timeless.

RE: NINE PARTS OF DESIRE

American Prometheus - the triumph and tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Very detailed and a fabulously in-depth look at one of the great minds of the 20th century and a wonderful exposition of what America does to its real heroes.

RE: No-Answer: Back to Reality

Hope springs eternal beautiful Jana.....

RE: 1-4-3

eye luv ewe.

RE: Come to my dinner party

I'm there!

Fabulous menu Sas.

RE: languages barrier

Struth Market, starve the lizards.

Rippa, beauty, bonza, grouse...

Oh and I forgot... Go you good thing!

RE: WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PIZZA ?

Thanks Sas, Kia ora indeed.

I like your blogs too (and you ever so delicate taunting of a certain political blogger).

I often go to look for your commentaries first.

Have a lovely day pretty lady.

RE: CAMPING

I've been to the Outer Hebrides Parti. It's great there...especially in summer. Very special at the Callanish standing stones.

RE: WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PIZZA ?

I think you might perhaps be very talented as a 'Lady of the Night'. With age comes the vast wisdom born of experience and you certainly don't look your age anyway.

Could be rather appropriate for the "Goddess of Love" don't you think? I couldn't cope with it though...all those horrible old men...yek! Still for the right guy you could charge the earth.

I consider worldliness to be an admirable attribute for such a professional (or anyone) and you certainly have that.

I have read that Peking Duck is a complicated process to prepare taking several days. Alas I don't have the recipe you are seeking.

I fear that you may be "Chasing the Dragon".

RE: World Happiness Report 2012:

I see New Zealand gets a ranking of 8th which is ok but I'm not sure how much credence to give this poling. I was working for a Danish company and all the Danes there seem to be clinically depressed and medicated for it! I felt a bit sorry for them. Perhaps they were not a representative sample?

Still at least NZ ranks ahead of Australia....(as it should do!).

RE: Life is sweet.

Rugby is not a matter of life and death - its more important than that.

RE: ANZAC DAY

...We WILL remember them...

RE: what about rap or hip hop?????how many of u consid

Art is the expression of human emotion or ideas using different media. Music is the expression of emotion and ideas via sound in the audible spectrum. Rap and hip-hop fail to qualify. They seldom generate any new feelings or thoughts and do little progressive with respect to the sound of the music.

I listen to alot of heavy (but intelligent) rock, some mainstream and quite a bit of techno, which I regard as the antithesis of rap. Superb lyrics, melodies, baselines and rythyms are capable of emanating from any genre, theoretically, but in my view, least likely to be born of rap or hip hop.

I normally enjoy music which demonstrates a high degree of emotional intelligence which will show through in the lyrics, the choices of instrumentation and the execution of the songwriting. I don't much appreciate simple songs and rap falls into this category for me. Also included are artists like Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson. They seem to write a quick tune with one instrument, record it and whamo...instant success.

I prefer heavily complex, layered tracks utilising multiple instrumentation and genuine vocals which you can tell the artist/s has laboured over for days or weeks and given their heart and soul into.

At the end of the day music, like all art forms, is about honesty. Without that, you will never have anything more than limited success and deserve no accolade. If you don't truly feel it yourself, you can't write about it.

RE: if china collapsed.....

China and the USA are locked in a bizarre embrace of financial symbiosis. They both need each other to proper given the level of investement China has in the US banking system. If the US dollar continues it inexorable nose-dive, both countries and many others will suffer. The weaker the US dollar becomes the more they will suffer.

The real problem in China is the level of governmental corruption and its extremely unfortunate attitude towards human rights. Simply being the most populous nation on earth does not equate to acceptability for automatically ignoring the rights of the individual. The health of the collective is directly related to the wellbeing of individuals in society and the reason that China is on a course towards destruction of its style of administration is that as its constituency becomes more affluent it also becomes more educated.

An educated body of people never accept a system which allows for the degredation or abandonment of specific sections of society. Individuals are a specific section of society and this is the reason why communism, as a valid system of governance, has been dying a death for the last 40 or 50 years.

What annoys me most is that as China becomes more affluent and its population rapidly aspires to middle class consumerism, my government and many more pander to the Chinese administraion and their cretinously corrupt ideologies purely for the ridiculous dollars being touted like some giant lolly scramble.

I hate that.

RE: Where is Becca?

You're so subtle Rockatanski.

Yes, missing Becca. Hope she will be ok.

RE: Don't

I like your construction DW.
I hope the snow has retreated from the Minnesota sidewalks.

RE: My English

Don't worry Summertan. Plenty of supposedly 'native' English speaking people make a right old mess of the English language. My boss was born and raised in London (East End) and his level of English ability is terrible. He is a good Engineer but seems incapable of stringing words together to make a proper sentence. I would suggest that your English is technically better than his.

Don't lose heart. I know how some managers can be. She is just trying to assert her new-found authority and the only way she knows how to do it is try to make someone else feel bad. No people skills at all.

RE: Let down !

Actually, I am starting to get the impression that this sort of thing is a bit endemic on here. I have been contacted by two other ladies who have had similar experiences with men they met here and travelled to see.

One had a particularly harrowing and unfortunate tale to tell. I expect there are many more who never tell anyone out of embarrassment or distress or simply disappear from the site without anyone knowing.

It's not good enough really but unfortunately it is one of the hazards of the anonymity of web dating.

RE: The LAUGHINGCAVALIER has banned comments...

Indeed. Good point.

Think I'll go chain my piano down as well.

RE: The LAUGHINGCAVALIER has banned comments...

He wears two cod-pieces.

One in the conventioanl location and one (skinny one, turned down) glued to his forehead so that he can peck at the emoticons on his keyboard due to his having lost his arms from too many sword duels...

Machine guns for full backs? Excellent idea Blackadder...

RE: Not all are one-night-stand

Actually, I have been playing for the 'Lions' club here Sakineh. they are a Sri Lankan team. I had no idea that rugby was so strong in Sri Lanka (cricket yes) but it obviously is.

The Doha Rugby club is run by Poms and they are incedibly expensive to join. The Lions have suited me (and my limited budget) better.

I refereed about 14 games of Touch Rugby in their tournament here the other day. It was good fun except I had completely lost my voice by the end of it from the sand storm blowing at the time and from yelling at sloppy defensive lines to get back onside!

RE: Not all are one-night-stand

Hell's teeth. 61-8. Looks like the Reds forgot to bring their defence. Never easy at Loftus.

RE: Not all are one-night-stand

I can't get any coverage here Stony. Which poor mugs are the Bulls gorging tonight?

Don't worry Sakineh. You could relate to me easy.
I went to city centre one time. But I was lost...

RE: Not all are one-night-stand

Cheers Stony.

All's well in the tight five then?

RE: Not all are one-night-stand

Souq Waqif? I don't know anywhere here. Sorry, I should have asked you to take me there....
