When I got dumped, I went to a high end department store and got a free make over. It took my mind off for awhile and it gave me a boost.

One had a particularly harrowing and unfortunate tale to tell. I expect there are many more who never tell anyone out of embarrassment or distress or simply disappear from the site without anyone knowing.
It's not good enough really but unfortunately it is one of the hazards of the anonymity of web dating.
It's a "meat" market, that can give good results.
Hang in there and don't think its as real as the real world, until it is. Its close to something real, but its distant enough too, so... keep a healthy back thought.
