For me it is all about money, paperwork and appointments.
Ex-wife was highly organised in this department. My salary went straight into bank and hey presto everthying was paid on time. I got handed a new tax disc (car) when needed. Told about appointments dates (mothers birthday etc). Now - takes a bit of getting used to. Watching the money drip-feed, or pour, out of the bank and wonder if it will make it till next pay day.

Insurance... what to get, when to get, how much to get...
And cloths ... when to say it's time to discard or donate. Old cloths used to just disappear... now I need to look at what I'm wearing and say "it's probably time".
Actually ... the 'under' cloths have always been something I've taken care of for myself ... it's the 'outer' items, where colors fade and styles change and "it still fits" was the only criteria I followed ... yeah ... found myself needing to revise my outlook.
I have never actually changed an LED light, half of my house will be in a permanent state of darkness by July! <--- this is sadly true, not joking.
was it always that way.
Yep we all get there in the end - no choice.
