RE: people

@ OutsideofBali - I'll translate for you, Girl... grin

"I have got a cat who is so smart that it can use it's own instinct to work out the truth"

@ barbara861 - It's no point being dishonest about yourself on a dating site because sooner than latter you will get caught out, especially if you find a partner, fall in love and want to meet in person. I grant you that there are people out there who step over the line but they are only 'players' and know that they will never meet with anyone..... professor

RE: finally a new blog

RE: Having Trouble Starting My Business

@ Vio - Visit your local SPCA or animal welfare centre, offer to walk their dogs for free but leave a stack of flyers/cards there and ask them to help promote your business in return, they can give one of your flyers/cards to everyone who buys a dog from them or reclaims their strayed critter...... professor

You could also contact local 'dog wash' businesses and ask them to promote and drop off one of your flyers/cards to each of their clients and you could offer to do the same for them, Girl.... professor

RE: Profiles versus Ads in Newspapers

@ Kattte - The biggest difference between newspaper and on-line profiles is the fact that newspapers charge by the word so one needs to get attention in the first line to stand out from others with as few words as posible, therefore they started to become 'witty and wild'..... grin cheers

RE: Wide open for Valentines ...

@ Calli's, Girl - They say that there is someone for everyone..... our times not up yet so we're still in for a chance..... yay ...... grin hug wine

RE: Why the Irish don't suffer from stress Monday's la

@ Glitch101 - Personally I think it's a greater joke knowing the the English have been conned for over 300 years into believing that their royal family is British....... laugh rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing ...... grin

RE: have been on this site about 20 days and it have b

@ KN - From what I have read she is not very well versed in the english language therefore her posts are not well defined or understood by the use of proper punctuation or 'flowery' explainations..... she wrote:

"women, dont post in my blog pls,i have got alot of bad experiens from stupid jealouse women the im enough"

She just asked that Women do not post on her blog and she said 'please' then she mentions that some stupid women have made it hard for her in the past...... she did not call all women who post on her blog 'stupid' so I don't see that OOB had any reason to blow her cool over it....... professor .... grin hug wine

RE: Relationship

@ Welela - doh ...and anybody that really knows their geography knows that there is also an 'Ontario' east of Los Angeles in California....... grin laugh rolling on the floor laughing ..... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ LouLou - ALL bibles were origonally written by man, regardless of faith, the English version was butchered far beyond it's origonal, for example the King James version, he had it re-written to include that the 'King' (himself) has the divine right to rule over everyone.

I would be very supprised if the koran hasn't been changed as well to suit those extreamists who wish to use it for power.

On the subject of 'right to rule', most British people don't even know that for 300 years their beloved royal family have been of Austrian decent their name was changed to Windsor to hide this fact..... laugh rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

wow .... such a respectfull greeting for a new member.... not.... doh

RE: Hope

@ SR - That was supposed to have read 'always WAS' not 'always IS'..... doh ..... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ LouLou - The church has always influenced the state but when I heard our news reporter mention last year that the polititions in our country were putting a question to the people "Should the state separate itself from the church?", I spent 10 minutes rollong on the floor laughing..... as IF that's ever going to happen....... rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

The church is always the power behind the state regardless what country you live in, just some are more obvious about it than others.

What a lot of people aren't aware of is that the vatican controlls the anglican, protestant as well as the Catholic church including all the so-called break-a-ways such as the lutheran church.

Speaking of the vatican, it's only as recent as last year that the pope changed the age of consent from 12 to 18 in the vatican city.

You are correct, the invention of the printing press changed everything, just like the invention of the web has done these days......

RE: HUMANITY

@ angel - There are more stars (suns) in the universe than there are grains of sand on every beach in the world, every one of those suns can have several planets around them, what a waste it would be if we were the only planet that contained intelliget life..... moping ....... grin hug wine

RE: HUMANITY

@ LK - Your welcome, Girl..... thumbs up grin hug wine

RE: HUMANITY

@ LK - Knowing that you are doing this means that I can breathe easier now..... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ LouLou - Almost correct but Elizabeth 1, after the Act of Supremacy in 1558 to re-establish the church of England's independence from Rome, she had Parliment pass an Act of Uniformity which in part made the public's attendance at church services compulsory as well as the use of the Book of Common Prayer, with penalties for not conforming to church attendance for religious indoctrination.

RE: Hope

I would just like to expand/clarify on something that I wrote earlier..... I wrote in part:

"Non-religious people have a more realistic view on the world because they still have their own mind....."

What I would have liked to say more clearly is that Non religious people have a more realistic view on the world because they are not held back or limited by any religious dogma.... grin cheers wine

RE: My comments on some profiles

@ ED - 'Moly is a Greek herb so maybe holymoly is a worshiped Greek herb..... dunno confused .... grin cheers

RE: My comments on some profiles

@ holymoly1 - Maybe 'chest game' is exactly as she intended it to be written..... laugh rolling on the floor laughing .... grin cheers

RE: Hope

@ SR - The 'right to rule' was instigated by the church and still is today so if wars were fought for power and property then you can bet there is a religious core behind it. Today we still see hundreds of innocent people killed in the name of allah and the holy war..... nothing changes.... blues moping

RE: Hope

@ Redex - Not at all, Girl.... I'm quite happy for someone else to have the last word.... laugh I'm just replying to posts and finishing off what I still had to say..... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ Ribbit777 - Very well put.... thumbs up .... grin cheers

RE: Hope

@ Redex - BTW people were married long before the first bible was ever written, be it in their own way or that of the tribe/clan at the time..... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ Redex - I respect everyone to believe in whatever they choose to and whatever floats their boat but religious people are no more 'less harmed' than non-religious people, we all feel the same pains and suffer the same regardless of your beliefs...... grin hug wine

RE: Hope

@ Johnny_Sparton - PS Even my dogs believed there was a greater creature than them..... they would cower under the bed everytime the thunder started..... laugh rolling on the floor laughing .... grin cheers

RE: Hope

@ Johnny_Sparton - Everyone since the beginning of time has believed in at least one God whether that God is an alien from another planet or universe or whether it is a suppernatural invisible being, long before religion was invented by the Romans simply because we all agree that everything we know was made by some entity far greater than us.... professor ..... grin cheers

RE: Hope

@ Redex - I'm afraid that I will have to disagree with you, Girl.... most evil-doing mass murderers and serial killers are religious, it's just that they went the 'demonic' way.... professor

Non-religious people have a more realistic view on the world because they still have their own mind..... grin hug wine
