The same as with "Evil" is only a matter of perception coloured by upbringing.
It is said that "Religion is for those who believe in Hell, and Spirituality for those who have been in it".
I do hope that I'll live long enough to see any Grandchilren.
I'm hoping the wars will end soon.
Well said Hanz.

Hope I think all people have hope or they could be heading the wrong way. How can one live without hope consciously or subconsciously. Without hope that is a very sad situation but does excist
There is good and bad in all people every country every religion is called humanity.
I hope you have good weekend.
My life has been far better since I copped on that god is a fictitious character. Of course I have hope, I hope that my children have happy and fulfilled lives, I hope I live to see my grandson grow up, I hope lots of things.
I have a different view on God. Not really as in the shape of a human watching over us, but as one energy that exists in everything and everyone.
SR, nice to hear from you. I ordered the books online and have since got one in. I am reading about synchonicity (The Tao of Psychology) and finished half the book last night. Now I can put a label on what sort of dreams we experienced. :) It is really interesting Jung discovered this and was not afraid to talk about it...at least he was not afraid to talk about it near the end of his career.
Non-religious people have a more realistic view on the world because they still have their own mind.....
I do not intend on this blog as being judgmental. We are a free-will society and I genuinely appreciate and respect everyone's decisions and beliefs they have.
I simply posted this blog because I was genuinely curious about the subject. Knowing a lot of people are non-religious, I wanted to better understand their perspectives. I must say, I have been enlightened and I very much thank you all for that.
I have one more question. You said that just because you are non-religious, that does not mean you do not believe in God. My question is this. How would you even know there was a God if religion did not exist?
I am sorry if this provokes an argument...that is not my intention.
Again, to each their own in life and I sincerely appreciate that.
the truth and nothing but the truth in courts of LAW I ask you.
Joking aside hans I have seen people get comfort in their lives with a belief wether we believe or not and some die a better death because of that belief too. How can you deny anyone one that believe.
Previous to birth of Christ we had pagans, druids, aztecs and witch-doctors - they believed in a higher power (god or gods)
I believe in God but not really religion or church. 3 major religions started within a few 100 miles each other. We all believe in the same God. Wars over the centuries - to date... we disagree how to worship same God!!
And No - non religious is no more susceptible to sin or badness than anyone else. Bad people do bad things. Good people at least try to do good every day.
Have good happy evening anyway
When a woman says - you have to have the last word.....
just means she wants it

Calm down woman.
Yes I studied what you wrote and brought back to the point.
Which is simply.
Bad people do bad things. Good folk - religious or not try to do good.
Power corrupts - absolute power corrupts absolutely.
People always believe in hope - even the most ardent non-believer probably buys a lottery ticket
If you read back you will find I answered blog. If you read back?
But Johnny my friend, a great blog indeed..
thanks for the exercise.
