Well, as for me I am a teacher so hopefully I am teaching young people to be better people themselves and to respect each other AND this great planet we call Earth.

Bald I have so much respect for our jobs. Because we do carry the burden snd responsibility of shaping the minds of our young. Tge future upon which our world's leadership is counted on with so much expectations.

A job that enlightens the darkness of ignorance. Without which we'd be limited to tge rubble of ignorance and idiotic thinking. I'm not saying that education is limited to these walls but its so much bettet because of us.

I'm retired bald and taught philosophy and political science and what is your field?

Bald in high school I didn't appreciate those subjects due to lack of understanding. But now boy. I'm into physics and now am into it totally.

@ Virgo, I almost forgot Virgo, when it is evening here is daytime on your side of the world.

At Johnny, yes thank you so much, there are so many on his line (Jung) line of thinking that is so beneficial to man but this is the best I use so much to my advantage. Only then we can truly be at peace with all of those around us, including enemies, if any?

Speaking of the employees that make them that money. I have a friend who knows somebody who works for a charity organization. He told my friend that he had a meeting with a wealthy contributor to that organization. The wealthy man came right out and told the person that he wanted to see the poor people stay poor. True story.....hmmmmmmmmmmm.

If the possibility was in my hands to improve humanity, the biggest thing I would do would be to inform people. Other than that, I have made many monetary donations to people in need. Why? I realize we are all on this planet and life is not easy for many. Not to mention, I grew up in poverty and know first hand how stressful life can be with a lack of knowledge and lack of finances.

One last thing we can do as a whole is not waste our resources and cut down on pollution.

Yes, it is so unfortunate that the rich people's mentality is to make them richer at the expense of us the poor. We wonder why walmart is by far the fastest to accumulate wealth? and the treatment they do to all their employees? lacking health benefit by not giving them the right hours to insure their benefits? Go figure.

And Johnny, I almost forgot how commendable it is for you to render EMPOWERMENT. Information and being able to know the rights are also a very good tool in making this world a better place. The saying that you give a man a fish and he has one day to eat it. But educate a man on how to fish and he will feed himself for life. In as much as the same line of thinking is the power of giving them the knowledge so they know where they stand. then this world will see its door opening up for improvement.

Angel, I have written so many articles in attesting to my layman's understanding of the Galaxies, based on the development of our technology to observe and reach out further than what man has achieved in the last 5 thousand years. We are according, to the article on Time magazine, truly stepping up in deep understanding of the Unkiverse, albeit will take lives after lives and dimensions after dimensions to truly even grasp what is around us. Angel. This can be a blog all to its own and thanks for the introduction to this topic.

Cailin, what a word of wisdom you spilled out here for us all to learn and consider. Although, yes to some extent, I will for a moment, consider, that we are Gods all to our own right, I am not too comfortable at this notion. Meaning me, as individual me. With all my ill equipped mind and short of those that have proven their minds to be far more superior than me, ie: Isaac Newton, Albert Enstein, and too many to mention. I will never sugar coat myself into believing that yes, I am God unto my own. I simply can't. But for anybody who believes on this line of thinking my respect and my deep appreciation for you. I am humbled.

Like I said: And I will say it again: MY BELIEF IS NOT TO DISRESPECT THOSE THAT DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHERE THE END OF UNIVERSE IS, AND HOW IT IS CONCEIVED OTHER THAN THEORIES, AND EXPLAIN IT TO ME IN MY LAYMAN'S UNDERSTANDING, AND IF DR. TYSON DE GRAZZIE AND DR. RICHARD DAWKINS, THE FORMER A QUANTUM PHYSICIST AND THE LATTER A BIOLOGIST BOTH RENOWNED AND PROFESSORS AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY CAN'T PUT THEIR FINGERS ON, INCLUDING THE COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THE GENIUSES THEN YOU TELL ME AND I WILL CONSIDER YOU MY GOD. Now this is the most that I can relate to my dear Cailin and the most that I adhere to. In fact if you will come across my children, friends, and the man I have loved so much, including my ex husband of 25 years, they will tell you that I AM THE MOST FORGIVING PERSON. and why not, life is way too short to deal on all the inequities of life. and like Johnny said: If we look at the famous thought of CARL JUNG, relative to knowing 'EVERYTHING THAT IRRITATES US ABOUT OTHERS CAN LEAD US TO UNDERSTAND MORE OURSELVES" and therefore ultimately understand those around us.

Thanks so much Cailin and I live by this principle. Never to hold any grudges towards anyone. close to you or from a distance. But if they poke you to death then please avoid them.

Hi sunday,i try my best to be the nicest possible person i can be towards everyone i meet and to try and help those less fortunate than myself where possible,i also encourage my son to adopt these values,i think to myself on occasion that "its not much" but being kind and good natured is something that costs nothing and aids positivity....If i had the power or could have one wish it would be to eliminate serious illness in the world...cheers

Twazzle, thank you for joining and add your positive attitude on all my writes. And let me tell you, there is nothing better than teaching the same principles and values to our own children. My ex husband and I tried to all our children and while they can be better, I am not dissappointed at how theiy turned out. As fit as we try to make them who we want them to be. It never works that way because of their own persona and characteristics they acquire on their own. Kahlil Gibran emphasized this so much on his take for CHILDREN GOOGLE IT AND YOU will be so amazed at how much truth there is in that. They are of us, but never from us..

For me it is not a question on how big your contribution towards humanity is...any small act of kindness or consciousness towards the greater good for all adds up...
So that being said, I try to do my part as a responsible citizen...work, pay taxes, recycle and donate my time and money for others' who have very little...maybe provide hope when possible...and sometimes just listen... cheers!
