I have some knowledge, though limited, of Quantum Physics.
However, the focus of this blog is summed up in the last paragraph:
Paranormal experiences, such as ESP, probably occur when there is an interaction of the reality of some other dimension with that of our ordinary day-to-day world.
Thanks for your comment, our resident scientific expert. Correction noted. I will stay with the term “dimension” as in third, fourth dimension etc. I am quite familiar with the definition of a frequency.
I think we have a lot in common in our views on these topics.
However, with regard to astral travel, etc., as I mentioned:
“I cannot quite grasp the idea of an individual, or part of an individual actually travelling in outer space to some distant planet, star or galaxy as some persons claim.”
Thanks for posting this. It brought back memories of my early childhood school days. We used to sing it at school.
Usually, we sang it as two groups. The second group would start just after the first group sang the first line: "Row,row, row your boat" thereby creating an ongoing effect.
By the way, the fourth line should be: "Life is but a dream"
I guess some funny person added the part about the crocodile.
Re your comment: “There is no formula, or measurement for a mental disorder.”
As stated in the article:
"There are no objective tests in psychiatry—no X-ray, laboratory, or exam that says definitively that someone does or does not have a mental disorder. What is diagnosed as mental disorder is very sensitive to professional and social contextual forces."
Also, even with the DSM which attempts to list “symptoms” of “mental illnesses”, in some cases, it may simply be a matter of interpretation by various psychiatrists. It is quite possible that one psychiatrist may perceive an “illness”in someone whereas another may not.
Thank you both for supporting the main message of this blog in testimony of the greatness of Ali, and also for the excerpts from your personal experiences. It is greatly appreciated.
Although Ali has died, I think his voice, in terms of his achievements, despite the discrimination he faced, will continue to be heard for quite some time yet.
“I think the key to successful parenting is teaching them right from wrong.”
In today's society, this may require a certain effort, in view of the effects of peer pressure, etc.
There may also be a need for parental discipline and even some form of punishment at times. This exercise which may be unpleasant to both parent and child must be handled very carefully.
I am glad you like the poem. You are fortunate to have those two little kids to keep you and your dog company, bringing you happiness with their smiles and laughter.
You are right; the type of parenting childen receive usually influence the kind of adults they become although in some cases, it may not necessarily be so.
My sister's husband died in 1975, leaving her with seven children, ages ranging from four to sixteen years. I assisted in helping to raise them until they were able to stand on their own. The message I got from the experience is to try to raise children within certain broad guidelines: not too tight but not too loose.
This same message was conveyed in a poster I had of a mare standing next to her foal with her neck stretched protectively over it. The message stated “Love is not holding on too tightly”
On 21 September 1972, he declared martial law. As his diary records, the Nixon administration consented as he shut down congress, arrested his political opponents, took control of the media and courts, and suspended all civil rights.

SnookumsSome persons I know have claimed to have an ESP experience.
Some bloggers here have also made similar claims.
I accept with their claims.
Perhaps, my “experience” can be described as vicarious.
vicarious:
“experienced or realized through imaginative or sympathetic participation in the experience of another.”
I accept the reality of the experience and have simply attempted to give a logical scientific explanation for the phenomenom.
