@ Andie....no need to apologise...I get what you are saying and yes I agree that people are known by the words they speak and insincere words will soon reveal the true character of a person....
Wishing you also all the best for Christmas and a really great year ahead filled with many blessings...
@ Non.......exactly never under estimate the power of words to create or destroy..... May you too have a very joyful Christmas and a blessed year ahead...
@Luke....to walk away is indeed wise but knowing when to stay and remain level headed enough to fight for something you believe is worth it...is entirely another matter
Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the year ahead....
@Welela....yes unfortunately words have a way of making you feel really ouch!... and it is well within your rights to retaliate but how we do it often speaks volumes about out personality and character...yours I'm afraid reveals you as a lovely sweet person.... regardless of your tough words my dear friend.....
Have a truly blessed and joyful Christmas with best wishes for the new year.....
@Mouse.....until someone gets to really know you..... all they have to go by is your appearance....do the best with what you have and for the rest just allow your words and actions to speak for you....more we cannot do or force on others. Good luck
@ wenever ...thank you...yes I agree that saying words that matter need not be long winded but short and sweet....have a truly blessed Christmas and a year filled with much prosperity... @johnjjm .....ai ..I do so hope for a positive and constructive time on the blogs for the future..... with much fun and joy for all who participate...wishing you a merry Christmas and a truly promise filled year ahead......
@Nicefeet ......yes sadly sometimes we forget how important our words are or the impact they have on others...ai....many good wishes for you and your dear ones for the week ahead..
@ simly_me ...your Mum was certainly very wise .... I remember saying those very same words to my kids as well...and then watch them roll their eyes at dear ole Mum... Have a really great and special Christmas....
@Fallforyou....Hi ....Nice first time blog....and yes I agree...rather go for quality and not quantity when it comes to friends...and use wisdom and discretion when selecting them...
It would appear that our late president Nelson Mandela even in his death has accomplished much..... not only for South Africa but internationally as well.....
@Whtwhb...Hi ...I have found that the very people who challenged me the most were the very ones who helped me to grow the most in wisdom and character.
Although I did not like the clash at the time....looking back I realised I learnt alot...so I am thankful in the end....
@LeahK...Hi there ...those are truly lovely words...so romantic..did they perhaps come from a song or something you wrote? anyway...thank you for sharing them on your blog...
@Catfoot..... ...what a bargain....I think I need one of those...mmm I think the "never been use before one" might be a bit out of my price range...oh dear what a pity
@Redex...Hi..I am well aware of the blogger stating that they had found the above text on okwanna.com, however I went searching for this site in order to ascertain the original author of the text and was unable to find the site?
Regardless of who the true author of the text is...it was posted in poor taste and lacked consideration and sensitivity of fellow bloggers...CS is after all considered an international site.... perhaps a little respect and decorum towards others would be most welcome here...
I think for love you would be willing to move heaven and earth to be with that someone special.....my late husband was a German and he choose to stay in South Africa because that was where his heart was.....and yes initial there where many obstacles which had to be overcome....including a language barrier...
Choose wisely....
@Luke...if you believe that someone or something is worth holding on to...then don't walk away but say whats really in your heart...
