@Gentlejim....The mouth speaks from what is in the heart...a heart full of goodness will never have to fear the consequences of the words that are spoken....
@Cat..... Hi there.....recent medical research has discovered that women tend to get more emotional than the average man..they actually produce chemicals in their bodies that can be detected for up to 12 hours after an emotional upheaval...men on the other hand after 30 mins have none to hardly any negative chemicals in their system...proving men get over things far more quickly that women do......so men please do understand when women are still on the warpath hours lately...its part of our genetic makeup.... ...have a lovely evening Cat and don't let the children playing upset you......
@Cat..... Now I feel old...I cant handle people who are negative and seriously avoid dark rooms and the only thing I test positive for is hormonal imbalances....
@Cat...I read awhile ago that medical research has proven that negative thoughts actually produce chemicals in your body that slowly poisons your entire system leading to illness and premature death.
Positive thoughts on the other hand have the ability to bring healing and longevity to one's life.....
Stay positive and enjoy whats left of your day...btw...thanks for the positive and encouraging blog...
@Gentlejim.....what I have learnt in life is that we minister from whats in our hearts...only those who have discovered the value of wisdom can pass on words of wisdom that are priceless but have the makings of a solid foundation on which you could build your life... Thank you for sharing those wise words....
@Luke...Hi ...I must confess due to my work I spend many hours behind my PC and being able to go on the blogs and just read or comment is far more convenient and entertaining than going out to meet people locally....
I must agree with you that there are some really lovely people out there....and I am in the process of making a serious career change which would enable me to spend more time away from my PC and more time intermingling and communicating with people in RL .....
Oh dear Cat...I follow a strict diet as per your recommendation.. ...but I'm afraid I might not be getting regular exercise.... Think I should go on holiday and get some fresh air and sunshine instead...maybe even consider a trip down to the sea side...should be lovely this time of the year....longevity is only worth working at if your lifestyle makes it all enjoyable....
Yes..Shane...what draws me to God is the fact that he knows what is really in our hearts..we are open and exposed to him...we may fool the people around us with our lies and deceits but you can never pull the wool over Gods eyes...his eyes see everything and he deals with us accordingly.....
Hi Shane..... ...like Cat said...I unfortunately dont always log in on a daily basis....but I'm glad you took the time to read my blog...btw that was ages ago...how come you managed to find it back now
Anyway...glad you decided to enter into a quality relationship with Jesus Christ ...just know that he is faithful and sincere...once you have entered into a relationship with him...there is no turning back or undoing what was agreed upon.
@Cat...although Peter did deny Jesus three times he also was given the opportunity to redeem himself three times down by the sea of Galilee ofter the resurrection ...each time the Lord asked Peter if he loved him and when Peter responded with yes Lord....Jesus then told him to take care of the sheep...a tall order for a fisherman I'm sure....Peter must have thought the Lord had lost his marbles...until he got to the Pearly gates.....
@Rich....Sadly up here in the highveld where I live we are going into the winter months now...early frosty mornings with very low temperatures ...the middays are sunny and warm though...but beware when the wind blows then the temperatures usually drop below zero. Thank goodness hardly ever any snow...only every other year.
Our winter landscape is very dry and grey....dead
this pic I burrowed from the internet just to show you a sample of what I mean...it was taken not too far from where I live.
@Luke......beautiful beach...Maitland I believe...shew how I miss being down by the sea
@Gentlejim...My Mom went home over 17 years ago...and still after all these years I feel her loss greatly....when she died I did not just lose a mother but also a best friend....
@Cat...I believe another definition for intelligence is a Know-it-all...a person who has a firm belief in the superiority of their own intelligence with the assumption it grants them the authority to correct those of lesser intelligence...while the rest of those observing this act of so called charity are .....
Thanks for the great blog ...very interesting yet entertaining all the while..
@Cat...wow....what a lousy start to your day...I hope the rest of the day settled down to a slow crawl with no further incidences.....Bed, book and KFC.....good plan of action....
@KNenagh...sorry to hear you feeling a bit under the weather...but seems like you have it all under control....soup, sleep and laptop in bed sounds like good medicine to me
@Richard D...Hi ...for reasons known only unto themselves do people believe what they believe...I personally believe in the existence of God but I'm not so crazy about the various religious dogma that is used in the approach or worship of God....but that is really my problem and not necessarily anyone else...I fully respect the beliefs of others and I think it would not be unreasonable of me to expect the same in return.
But seriously Richard.....this is a dating site and not a platform for evangelism...I believe we are to present our views and enjoy the views of others....in that way those on the blogs get to know each other a little better.... which perhaps is the main object of the Blogs on CS....
Mmmm Cat...just for the record if we were interested in any of that money...would we then have to supply you with our email addresses and banking details as well...
@Cat....wow....crazy life and crazy neighbours...never a dull moment....you are indeed wise to take Luke's advice...a free meal and drink can be regarded as a peace offering regardless of the culture or country...but as a precautionary measure inviting other couples along as well is wise as well.... best of luck
@Cat...I second Luke's comment....It sort of covers many telling aspects of your well written blog...regardless of the inability of a few to follow its content....
@ Calliopesgirl...I agree with you... kindness and a little consideration towards others and their feelings can go a long way in creating harmony where ever you go or whatever you do....
@serendipity615...excellent blog...well written and explanatory... and I must say I am in total agreement with all that was written here...thank you btw......... In SA...the horror of the most heinous of crimes is part of our daily lives...and it does not make sense to see those who committed these crimes walking free...many have seriously questioned the existence of a loving God
@Red.... ...labels often have a cruel way of being very hurtful and destructive...but in the end it is your choice to accept that label or flush it down the loo where it belongs...a tree is know by the fruit it bears and not the label it wears... go well my sweet friend and don't wear labels that don't belong to you..
RE: What are you Doing?
@Luke... you're amazing....I think I broke mine
