@Luke....hi there...sadly I do believe the media does make a rather big fuss over a person's ethnic deposition ...I firmly believe people should be proud of who they are irrespective of their skin colour...a person is known by their actions and not their race...unfortunately in SA most crimes are committed by blacks...mmmm which is not strange at all since we live in Africa and the majority population group is black....

Ai dear friends...Thanks for all your sincere concerns....I'm fine and glad to be ok..I can assure you I was really shaken and even now I'm still jumpy and on edge in this old house of mine....but was so glad Luke was there...shew I can't tell you all just how much...

Hi all.... ...as Luke so rightly said we were busy skyping and chatting away when I heard a strange noise coming from somewhere in my house...and when I went to check it out I discovered a man in my house armed with a crow bar coming at me....I reversed down the passage shouting at Luke to call the police ..when I got to my bedroom door I slammed the security gate and called the cops to come at once..and then I called some relatives I knew close by to come to my aid as well....at this point the robber after a quick look around to see what he could help himself to left before the cops and everyone else arrived..to this day I maintain that that robber heard Luke's voice and was under the illusion I was not alone and that was why he decided to leave.....

@Luke...ai man..I know you felt so helpless but I honestly feel if it wasn't for your voice on skype the bugler would have thought I was alone and then it could have been another matter altogether...thank you so much for being there for me when I really needed it....
