Conquering fear can and will lead to happiness.

Everyone has fear. Some of success, some of failure. And a thousand lil unimportant fears in between.

Fear of commenting on the blogs.
Fear of someone NOT commenting.
Fear of finding love or NOT finding love.

Conquer your fear and you will find happiness.

Fear has great power in our lives. Thank God it does, keeping us from doing things that could hurt us, like taking unnecessary and dangerous drugs. However, it is a terrible problem if it is keeping you from making your life better, like losing weight and keeping it off, getting a better job, having a good relationship or doing and having any number of things that would make your life happier.
I say screw fear and be happy.

How timely is your blog for me Luke. Although those in between are so inane they don't thrive in my oceans of fear.

I am, however, very charged of fear now for mankind's inability to withstand man's callousness and brutalized existence.
The result of this war going on seems cheap and easy but kn reality Luke?

Perhaps we should just conquer our fears and enjoy every moments of our lives.

Grateful to be alive Luke. hug
Luke,

Excellent blog. How very true what you have said! One of the greatest fears is, "the fear of failing". This has stopped many, many people from being great achievers! JMO
Hi LJ, I take it in the light of, if no one had a fear of reprisal then we would stand together and tell the guy in charge what we really think of the way he/they are running (ruining) the globe. But fear prohibits us to show our true feelings... dunno JMO
darr ke aage jeet hai ( fear precedes victory ).

Hi Jimhandshake , Fear is the real enemy is all aspects. Now I know somewhere during the comments there will be someone that will dissect and define fear to his/her advantage but I will always keep my stance of fear being the true enemy of the person.cheers

Of course, we are more familiar with the fear of failure, the dread of working hard and being denied what we want. Who wants to work hard for nothing? Worse, with every failure in our life, we likely suffered humiliating shame and guilt. Who can stand that? dunno
handshake AJ, Quite true but conquer fear in its own right. No mater how huge or tiny the battle is. I am a mere mortal.sigh
FEAR only stops the flow of LOVE...
When there is LOVE, there is NO Fear!scold
wave Min,,, NOW you’re talking...thumbs up
minerva - you forgot about philophobia!
Lukie;
Great blog!. . . . .kiss

wave Heyyyy! All Yawl.
Our greatest fear is the "Death of the Ego".

Fear is a vital response to physical and emotional danger and is needed for survival.

Phobias are also fears but usually coming from a past trauma - in this life, or past lives.

However, all the other fears are "unecessary" and must be overcome in order to let love flow and for us to be "happy"

Good that you brought this topic up Lukeonthumbs up heart wings
At Min my friend, how true that is. The most impending reason for love to glow and flow is fear.

So let's cultivate everything that inspire us to be disconnected from fear.
Nice blog Luke.
Thanks angel . Where is catfoot/bob?grin
@ Min, yes you are totally correct. Like the title reads 'Conquering Fear'wine No twist to it just to conquer and rule..grin
Thanks LJ. I must admit tho that I have a fear of going out on a date tonight with Kittyjoy as she has invited me out to Ceasars Palace. Thats a top class Casino. I might be ruined for the rest of my life...moping rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Just kidding..bouquet
@Ajkaor. "Philophobia"? Yes, the Fear of Love... or of emotional attachments...doh

I´m afraid many have those fears...?dunno sigh

But, if we fear being emotionally attached to someone, we´ll never have any friends for fear of "losing" them?

In this case, the fear becomes: "Fear of loss".
So you say I have conquered fear to feel as happy as I do now a days? Hmmm... interesting. wink teddybear hug
Not sure about my facts but I think there are only 3 or so natural fears one is born with: Height, loud noises and the dark. I stand under correction. All the other phobias/fears are man made moping
@ Luke... Mmm only thing you should fear is losing your money tonightrolling on the floor laughing
wave Wel,, I have got to know you as one fearless lady. applause Keep it that way. I don't mean throw caution to the wind but without unnecessary fear there is happiness.bouquet
Kitty, I fear I'm running late.laugh Will see you in a short while, just want to shower,,wine Bubyeeeeebouquet bouquet
Sorry Luke, I don´t agree with that one.
The fear of heights "acrophobia",
fear of darkness "nyctophobia",
fear of water "aquaphobia"....
These are not "man made" fears..scold

They all come from past traumas, either in this life, or in previous past lives.
I happen to deal with people who have these phobias.wave
You have to risk something to win something.

I think, if there is something in your life you don't like, change it. wine Not always easy, but well worth doing it. conversing
@ MIn,, I don't think you understood/read my comment properly.

Not sure about my facts but I think there are only 3 or so natural fears one is born with: Height, loud noises and the dark.

These are fears that every baby is born with, IOW natural fears.

@ LukeOn - Babies do not fear height.... they did some experiments by placing a clear glass bridge across to tall objects and all the babies old enough to crawl went straight across without any hesitation. That's why babies drown so easily in backyard pools, they just crawl straight in without fear or perception of height.

.... grin cheers
@ usha - Come on Girl, get with the times, most self-respecting handy people use cordless drills.... doh ... here is a pic of mine:

There's another kind of fear: That which comes from trauma (physical and/or mental) and that is not so easily conquered, if ever., but I do appreciate the sentiment of your blog :-)
We live with fear, everyday..we just have to learn to push it to the side..and get on with life... The fear of what other people may think of you....having said that..as you get older, fear of certain things, becomes less..we become more confident...yay
Hi Nidi, actually this blog was meant for the general mentally stable members of CS. Not for the Profs and Phd's to find fault, but this is my personal opinion. If fear TENDS at times to rules a mentally stable mind then happiness won't be found. I say again, JMO.bouquet
