i'm still in the dark. so - you are implying there are rules for escalators in spain?...just like driving the cars ( keep left or right depending upon the country )? and are the rules official ( decided by the government ) or unofficial??
either standing on the left or right serves the purpose. i mean, either everybody should stand on the left or on the right side - though this hardly happens.
if someone is mature enough to handle rejections in professional life ( did not get into the college or job he or she applied or did not get promoted or get a raise ) - then it is anticipated that he or she will too handle rejections in personal life wisely.
