Scotland, my experience

Scotland is so incredibly beautiful. I had seen photos of Edinburgh and always wanted to visit and see it for myself... but alas, I did not spend enough time there to sate my interest. I did, however, catch up with friends I made in New York last year... AND that was nice.

Without any further ado... My scenes...

Hi Abagail, beautiful photos again. I loved Edinburgh with it's historical buildings and we had the best ever city jump on / jump off tour in Inverness - we crossed the same crossroads 4 times, every time coming from a different direction. laugh

Looks like you had a great time. wave
happy369 ---Indeed it was. Simply stunning even.

CailinCallaghan --- I can understand that! I have a friend over there who lives next to these lakes and he has invited me back to stay with him and his partner. I didn't get a chance to catch up with them... but can you imagine living there ALL of the time?

Kittyjoy --- You are very welcome... it's incredibly serene. I have been to National Parks in other countries, but this whole country is like one big park.
Georgiapeachgirl ---No need to be jealous. Just start planning your own trip!!! smile

GoDaniel---Thank you and you are very welcome. I enjoyed sharing.

KNenagh ---I am sure YOU understand my fascination with Edinburgh... it's a city you just feel the need to see! I am so glad I got to experience this.
It wasn't just about the castles for me. I went to a dinner show in a Welsh castle... the singing was incredible. In Ireland I went to another dinner show and again... the singing was incredible. Edinburgh ... well the views, the different stages of buildings, the museums... spectacular.

But thank you for the recommendation.
I enjoy your photos!

morgen90210 --- No need to apologise, I understand. A friend of mine returned from a trip about two years ago and showed me photos of Edinburgh... in that moment, I wanted to see what he had.
