Spring has Sprung

There is something incredibly alluring about Spring. It's my favourite season... The weather is erratic. One day will be superb, the next... there will be a thunderstorm... and sometimes you can have both on the same day.

And then... there's the flowers... My garden is so incredible at the moment. I come home to a heady, scentual (Yes, I made the word up... but it's suitable)grin experience.

It's Spring here and it's sooooooooo nice. Although after being in the UK recently... your roses are more impressive than anything I grow. smile
In the mountains in the tropics there is an everlasting spring.
What am I doing here? dunno
I was in Germany in July... and it's beautiful. Why would you NOT be there?
Because July is over...for almost a year.
... Germany is lovely. The food is interesting, the people are friendly... You should always love where you are.
Abagail, I see, spring has sprung and you are happy and I am happy for you... I love the fall season in Norway, it has so much beauty to show. So I will take the fall with a big smile on my face and I will wish you a wonderful spring and summer to come... teddybear
Awww thanks Welela... It really does make me smile. I adore it.

Autumn has an appeal to... the crunching leaves under your feet, the fresh cool air.
Im obviously on the wrong side of the plant...grin
Touche, Dedovix. Indeed... well at this time of year...for you it's all wrong. grin

Thank you, India... it's really incredible. I want in the US for Spring once ... out in the desert and the flowers on the cactus were beautiful too.
Hi Abagail,

We skipped spring into an early summer, already facing a second heat wave! Experienced our first, typical, early summer thunderstorm yesterday. I love rainy days and stormy nights.

Spring is an enchanting season indeed. The beauty and energy is almost tangible.

Enjoy your 'scentual' garden bouquet
Chocheta , I completely agree with you... there is something utterly mesmerising about a storm.

Thank you.
the only thing springing here is.uhm never mind.blooming marvelous blog
laugh Benni... your restraint is... well... admirable.

Thank you.
As beautiful as spring is ,i must agree stormy weather is amazing i love sitting in my car near the coast when its stormy watching waves crashing especially near a lighthouse wave
Mike, you make everything sound utterly romantic in Ireland. smitten

I would probably be out walking along the beach in a storm...
Oh thats me MR ROMANTIC lol
yes walking on the beach is nice but also near me is a stoney beach when the tide is rushing in the sound of the stones rolling over each other with the movement of the waves is amazing wave
I have to admit I love mountainous and hilly area... but the sea also holds a distinct appeal.

You are a Sailor at heart... do you want some spinach?
gagagaga well i did love my tall ships but i also love watching the sea pounding the land
... reminds you of the olden days ???grin ... back when you were a wee laddie and you were pounding ... the land.
all that pounding and wetness there is something about itgrin
Mike, I recall a time when you were so sweet, innocent and an utter gentleman. What on earth happened??confused
Rocks lighthouses
I still am whatever do you mean
Oh my god i just realised i am so sorry angel
Hi Abagail wave

indeed Spring is a beautiful season --although here in Ireland it can be erratic to say the least ! --we had hailstones in April here during our last spring ! help laugh
Your garden sounds wonderful Abagail --enjoy the sights and the "scentual " perfumes ! hug
Isn't spring supposed to be the time for love,
Just as the flowers blossom, doesnt love at spring time?confused

The scent of all those beautiful smelling flowers that adorn the gardens, bringing to life a gift that is hard to match.

Maybe spring is for the romantics, those that enjoy love in their hearts and music in their minds.

Ah springtime, what a great time of year, no matter where on earth you be.
doh
Mike... in your next lifetime you are going to be Pinocchio
Hello Serenity,

Hailstones... now THOSE I could do without. I think they would hurt Wolfy ( my car) ... and I wouldn't like that.

The scents are pretty incredible... it is so nice to get home from work and wander around my garden at the moment. daydream
I agree Simmo, I have been to the US for Spring a couple of times and it's incredible. There is something... in the air, and I definitely have a weakness for it.

It's nice to see you by the way, but should you not be out tonight ?
Abagail,
Now where would i be tonight?
It's not as if i havent been trying to get out.
there's this lady that i have been asking out for a coffee for a while now, but she chooses to gallivant around the world. dunno

I'd love to share a coffee with her this spring, but alas, she has much to do herself, so tis me, Matilda and Keisha.

I did spend time with the beautiful Princess Trinity (granddaughter) earlier tonight.

frustrated
blushing I am glad you had a wonderful time with Trinity. At least that Princess doesn't require you to slay dragons, to climb towers, to raise a sword... that Princess falls readily into your arms full of giggles and love.

... AND it is Friday night, so naturally I would assume you have been out for after work drinks. wine
Abagail,
If the truth be known, i have actually been off work all this week due to a slight muscle strain in my back.
Not sure how i did it, and before some start to suggest ways that it may have happened, i can assure all that bedroom games was not and is not a factor.
I think it may have happened when i was playing with the dogs last weekend.
confused dunno
Dogs? Plural... I could say something, but... I won't.

Seriously though... I hope you feel better soon. comfort
lol,
dogs plural, Well Keisha is a German Sheppard i inherited off one of my daughters when she moved out and Matilda of course is my Dingo,
Maybe i should have said when i was playing with my Dingo and dog, confused
As for being right, yeah alls well i guess, a little spasm here and there, but nothing life threatening.
Off to beddie byes now,
have fun and chat later.
sleep
reading all your comments, it makes me a bit jealous as I don't have spring or winter... i only have dry and raining season.
but my have beautiful country too like yours... I have to go to Europe or else where if wanna touch the snow snowglobe
