My European adventure...

It's never easy to describe everything you do on a trip, memories slip to the surface over time reminding you how fortunate you were to see a different place. I thought I would share, as requested, a few of my photos from my trip.

Europe is fascinating and there is much to share, and I have only selected a few highlights. Chosen because they amuse me or fascinate me.

Abagail, nice photos. I see you had a wonderful time while in Europe, but you forgot the most beautiful country of them all, Norway.

Maybe next time? Thank you for showing this to us, it is lovely. Keep on remember and enjoy it all in your thoughts, as I do wiht my big trip to USA back in 2010.

Welela... I agree, the US is fascinating. I have some wonderful memories of all the trips I made there. However, Europe is harder to travel in because of the language differences for me.

Hi Abagail, catching up with family and work, you must have been busy. It just hits home how much of the continent I haven't seen yet, I really have to do more travelling.

It often draws me to faraway places but there is a lot to see "on my doorstep".

Mike, so far...so good. I think as time goes on , it's going to be harder to distinguish photos over time. Right now, everything is fairly fresh for me.

KNenagh... I jumped onto the ants nest when I arrived home. I was sent to Melbourne for a week with the company I work with and the social engagements heat up at this time of year.

You truly live in a beautiful country though... I would love to see more.

Benni, I have used one of those, but it feels like it was eons ago. As I have no talent with a camera and rely solely on luck, it's a good thing cameras are made well these days.

Hope you didn't need a holiday after the holiday with all the "work" coming your way.

Ireland is a beautiful little country and the continent has beautiful areas, too. You were about 1,5 hours away from my homeplace when you were in Brussels.

You can always come back!
