Sometimes amidst tears and trials we do have to stop and count the blessings we still have. It is not always easy when in a dark place but their is always some sunshine when we look shining through the clouds.

My ex suffered from severe sleep hapnia and had to have a Machine. with that though you can usually find yourself falling asleep all over the place literally. Pure exhaustion where your mind never goes into a deep sleep. The machine saved my ex's life as it can be that serious but very well managed. Get checked out.

Speaking of snakes and bats.

My son has an eight foot Boa snake he's chunky as well, I think she's sizing me up for when she gets bigger... Though she is a gentle snake as snakes go.

Then last Saturday night we had a bat flying round our house. What a performance!!!! We phoned the bat helpline for advice. They said they can carry rabid so to be careful.. But also not to hurt it. MAN it took my son and I 2 hours to get it out of the house. It created pandemonium!!! They are so fast!!!! But finally caught him and set him free.

I do understand what Edd said. I do believe sometimes women want their equality and to be seen as strong and independent as men that they can lose their gentle compassionate feminity which I do believe sometimes confuse men.
We can send out conflicting signals. Though there is never any excuse for bad manners.

I taught my boys as did my ex to be respectful to all people and to treat a woman with great respect. Sadly though they have not always had the best experiences of doing so. Some women have been grateful by showing a smile or a thank you and some just took for granted what was done for them. Fortunately they have not let bad experiences stop them, but it did surprise them sometimes with a woman's reaction.
All these teachings begin at home. It's as important to teach our daughters equally to treat a man with respect. Men get a lot of self worth by how they are treat by woman.
We need to teach these things in our home and be an example ourselves.

I remember a man opening the door for me and thanking him for being so kind and he was genuinely shocked I was grateful... He said usually women just expect it. Courtesy and manners go both ways.

Maybe we just need to remind ourselves to be courteous then hopefully it it will rub off onto others. Not everyone has parents with good manners to pass on so we have to try by our example and appreciation to make them feel good about helping....A bit like smiling does, it then becomes contagious!!!!

I believe we are never truly alone, for I believe a kind and loving Father watches us over us.

I do know sometimes though that we need that hand to hold or that arm to embrace or to hear the words `I love you` that is when I know God wants us to show human kindness one to another.

It is quiet a topic though Lindsey as you can feel `ALONE` in a room filled with people, so are we alone? can be a frame of mind also.. how we look at life. How we see ourselves.

Interesting topic and could bring out so much .. and many views.

Hello Keys, how beautiful it is to know we are indeed created in the image of God.
I know He lives as much as I know I live and breath.. and know all goodness comes from Him and from our Saviour. I desire to be like them though know I have a long long way to go and fall short always.. but striving day by day to follow our Saviour and want to do as He would have us do, to be good and kind to all.

I hope someday that His love will shine through me... I know it shines upon me for He shines upon us all but I would that I could reflect some of His countenance in my face... and that the light of Christ could shine from my eyes. I have seen it in the lifes of good men and women who truly love Him.

We do see all around us those who can appear good in their politics.. yet can be devastating to a country.. I can think of one politician who had that impact in my country and it was awful. What they said sounded right.. what happened was NOT.

We have to be very aware of any leaders whether they stand for God or not. I think the scripture..`By their fruits ye shall know them`, also `My sheep hear my voice`. To true believers they will hear the voice of the Saviour and they will recognize the fruits of those who lead whether they be good or bad.
