Yes, some of us are still here... I joined in April this year and was contemplating today how I had found some lovely people who have become good and dear friends so glad I joined. My time on here has educated me on others cultures and thoughts... Given me insight into others life's.
So as I come to the end of this year I am grateful for new friends made.
Well I have just done enough then.. one for Butters and Calle and me also... just made four, can always do another when someone pops by for a chat Mimi wont be by for a while as she is sleeping now
So Nam, being that it is snowing and COLD outside .... Brrrrrrrrrr.... shall we all have a nice hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows? with some cake as well... before we have to start those blinking diets in the New Year Sounds blissful!!!! Please help yourselfs... its YummmmmY!!!!!
I have !o something to say Nam.... Its SNOWING!!!!!!! I am so excited.... a day or two late but better late than never... looks so pretty.... Know we won`t have as much a Butters... but I am a HAPPY ME!!!
Hi Gj, I always seem late joining in the blogs.. nearly always the last to comment When I read your blog.. My first thought was.. I am USELESS at New Year Resolutions... I make them and maybe make some effort but I am terrible at keeping up to them. I just want to be better than I was this year. A better person... have more control over my eating as I have been terrible this year, not sure what got into me
But I am happy being me, just need to be a better me then I will be happier still
Like you I would like to be more use to people in need. More kind and thoughtful
I am almost scared to write them.. though they say a goal not written is only a wish. I WILL TRY though... GJ and follow your example
Merry Christmas Zman!!! Ah that day comes to us all when we find out there is no real Santa just our dear old parents playing at him... Still it was fun while it lasted
Thanks for the chuckles and glad you got your new chainsaw See... The magic of Christmas lives in our hearts
Sometimes Nam, you have to be the pioneer in a family .. Somewhere it all starts with one person wanting to make a difference... Just like that one soldier singing brought an end to war for a time. I am sad for those who do not have loving families I truly am. Like Loulou said.. Remember your CS family and I am sure you also have good friends. Hugs to you Nam
They began the Truce, by a soldier singing 'silent Night, holy night ' I believe it was a German soldier and then all joined in... It was then they came out of their trenches. They played football and even exchanges chocolate or some form of gifts. To me it shows how when you feel true love in your heart you cannot at that same moment harbour bad feelings and how that love is contagious and that night and for a while it entered into their hearts.
Zman, oh what a night back in December 1963 I was probably just coming to terms with the fact that Santa was in reality my dad BUT daren't voice it just in case I might be wrong
The Truce in the First World War shows to me the true power and love of Christmas...peace on earth .. Even if it was only for a short time, Christmas United and filled them with peace and love for mankind.
I pray always for peace to be in the hearts of man... Forgiveness and charity. It would be wonderful Nam... Lovely thoughts
GJ, I always love your comments and wishes and you sent me them by the triple!!! thought only I did that!! You have a special Christmas with those you love and celebrating the birth of our Saviour. Love ya and hugs to you
He does look kinda cute kn, not quiet like the Santa's I'm familiar with ... Guessing yours is for adult kids can imagine Mimi googling at him He is what I call very easy on the eyes
Maybe it's a good job your staying close to home then... Should be able to walk that one ok ... Maybe even skip home in time for Santa Don't forget to leave out that mince pie and drink of Santa's choice (he likes Schloer here)
Oh man!!! It sounds so weird to me to think of Christmas on a beach Can well imagine you all having those conversations like I said just mind your way home at the end. Guess it just goes to to show... Christmas is in your heart wherever you are
