Now that Christmas is over, I imagine everyone is getting their New Year's Resolution list together? Remember when you make this list, you have to be truthful and practical!My resolution: I am going the extra mile to help people!

2015. Is my turn now!
Conservative is not exactly the word I would use to describe myself. In my humble opinion New Year's resolutions are mainly to change bad habits and to make genuine and dedicated efforts to change or do certain things. Not to make major, life changing decisions. New year's resolution has become tradition and is mostly fun. I'm breaking the tradition, do I lose the 'conservative' label now
My 2015 New Years Resolution, if the Lord says the same, is to continue doing what I'm doing in ministry works for the homeless, elderly, and small churches, in spite of... all the headaches, heartaches, disappointments,etc.(list is too long), that goes along with this kind of work...

When I read your blog.. My first thought was.. I am USELESS at New Year Resolutions... I make them and maybe make some effort but I am terrible at keeping up to them.
I just want to be better than I was this year. A better person... have more control over my eating as I have been terrible this year, not sure what got into me
But I am happy being me, just need to be a better me then I will be happier still
Like you I would like to be more use to people in need. More kind and thoughtful
I am almost scared to write them.. though they say a goal not written is only a wish. I WILL TRY though... GJ and follow your example

"'15" - Odd. Some folks have mentioned it's just now REALLY starting to feel like a new century. One guy on the radio mused that until now, all that worry about the Y2K bug & computers crashing seemed like a just few weeks ago. Odd.
I haven't think of it yet...
Someone told me that I'm too soft and too weak and need to change that and be tough so I don't get walked over...
Another told me I have a very generous character and need to change it. Said I'm too nice to people and need to learn how to say no.
I just want to be care-free, worry less and live life to the fullest in the days, months and years to come.
