For me Lindsey, I would use the power of discernment. I believe we are given this power if we choose to use it .. to know as to how far we can trust someone. I am someone who will give any body the benefit of the doubt. My mum used to say I was too trusting... BUT in giving someone the benefit of the doubt does not mean that you automatically take every word they say as being SO! but rather that I give them an opportunity to be the person they want me to believe that they are. Does this make sense to you?
I am nobody`s fool and whilst my mum thought I was too trusting in my heart I always knew what I was dealing with. Some people NEED to feel trusted even when they have made bad choices to have someone believe in them. I would not marry someone I could not trust though... though I would be a friend to someone, as everyone needs friends. I would just be AWARE of who they are.
I know what I am trying to say... just not sure it is coming across. I just feel everyone needs second, third and fourth chances at times.
Trust is VERY IMPORTANT though and I feel it essential in any relationship... You just have to know in your heart whether you can or are able to trust someone.
What a lovely story of true devotion makes you just feel so good to hear stories like this. I love them. We often hear so many negative things when everyday beautiful things are happening all around us.
Yes, we should all look out for one another. It is a beautiful thing to serve our fellow beings and indeed a privilege. I often feel when we do something kind we are ones who actually are rewarded with such joy... whilst not looking for any reward at all
I don`t smoke.. of which I am thankful for because I could NEVER have afforded them, but also I have never had to quit ... My vice is FOOOD!!!! AND mainly desserts
Oh golly, thing is I know I could NEVER go without some desserts for ever.. I have cut them out now and again, but forever is a LONG time
