Actually the Iraq Iran war was given the green light by the US...Iran was sleeping with what was going on there, the intelligence given to Iraq was by the US..so the US started it because their chosen leader of Iran..the Shah had been kicked out...the US wanted to control the oil again...
Iraq fought a ware against iran, helped and funded by Kuwait and saudi, and approved by the US..after the war any many deaths both sides,around 1 million, Kuwait wanted iraq to pay back the money !..Saddam said..are you kidding ! I fought this war on your behalf, and proxy war on behalf of the US.
Saddam asked the US to get involved, they washed there hands of it. What Kuwait did next was to drill oil from underneath Iraqi soil, and increase its production, lowering the price of the barrel, nearly bankrupting Iraq.

Buddy..but in goes hand in hand..the industrial world and our countries would be nothing without the oil to run our cars, ships, planes, industry, power stations, whilst we have the knowledge to create, the oil the Arabs have, gives them money to buy our goods, one cannot be without the other.
