I have pondered the concern,but only in regards to the very young. It is up to their parents,but we have our individual family memories of how technology brought us closer, globally. It revealed the truth.Books ( words) are one persons' perspective on a matter. Technology ( visual,acts) is a recording.
Time to play,time to work, time to think. I need something to stimulate my body.It is probably outdoors, if I get moving. I've got to get my garden started.
Extremes- in one situation She is starved and isolated,tricked by strangers and in the other case she opened the door so to speak to strangers,and has to worry about them never leaving her alone.
My daughter and I carry tazers,but are both generous.You can get " taken" here at any age. There is an generous,vmature woman that offered a couple with a toddler,and infant access to her home and now she can't stop them from referring to her as Grandma to their children and robbing her blind.She was so confused by their actions.The little she had,she offered: shower,laundry,meal and even a sleep-in.They leave her periodically,in their motorhome but expect everything on their return.
