tall he was the Gov of Michigan good old Engler.I recall him having to walk sideways to go through a doorway.those doors are huge in the Lansing capitol.
Also tall I don't support political figures anyway cause I had a face to face conversation with one from my home state on several occasions and it didn't turn out do good for his side. He lost the war to speak.
The American middle class has been shrinking for years and the middle class is what made America the largest consuming market in the world. The middle class also pays the most taxes and historically has been the highest overall contributors to charity.
@tall I agree with this part of your post in regards to the middle class. It's either the rich or poor anymore.
Namron this is a photo that his wife had displayed during the dinner which had followed his memorial at the center which shows Larry's dog tags and such while he had been serving in the Army.
To answer your question of when Larry served in the Vietnam war it was from 1966-1967 but he had served a grand total of 9 years in the Army. From the info I got out of his Obit.
Namaron I've always been very proud my brother Larry and even my other older Orville who passed last year who also served in the Army as well but in the Korean War.
I don't sit at home alone, nor am I depressed.I keep myself quite busy talking to people that I enjoy being with whether it be taking day trips or else just enjoying their company.
Bearwoman.. believe it or not.. some of this is happening even today.. i have read where a woman was asking advise because the man she was with put her up in an apartment ,paying all her bills and ask to pee on her.. she let him coz he was the source of her livelihood.. then he ask to do the other stuff.. now that had her scared.. so comparing some of these stuff to what some people will do for money or financial benefits its nothing
georgie I've witnessed some of what you posted which has been going on for some time.
I enjoy watching movies such as"McLintock"starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Patrick Wayne, Stefanie Powers. ... (1963) This film was the first to be produced by Wayne's son Michael....
