My oldest son suffers from PTSD and thankfully that he quit dealing with the VA docs cause he found out that they were purposely overbooking patients so he decided to seek help outside medical help and told me this past Mother's Day that the meds were helping him to feel so much better now and that his life was almost the same as before he had joined the military.

Just like my two sons don't wouldn't owe me anything.
My late parents did what they did cause they had been responsible for providing me with shelter,clothes,food and an education.Just as I did with my sons.
Up in my home state of Michigan the public school had a police officer in the grade school that my sons attended and there were no problems.
That officer had his own office in one of the empty rooms and the students became use to seeing him everyday and would run up to him and give him hugs .Plus they called him Officer Steve.
Other then maybe a few humans I haven't really seen too many people who really and truly act human beings.It's as if they are somehow from another world..
I know what truckers do cause I have an older brother who drove a truck for a living. I've seen/met a combination of good ones and bad ones.
Yes I realize if not for the truckers I wouldn't be able to purchase certain things in the stores etc. I've also told a few Thank You in my lifetime for what they do too.A truckers job comes with the territory.
I've seen single people make funny comments all the time in regards to themselves being single and see nothing negative about it.Maybe they have a good reason of why they joke about it.I'm not going to make a guess of why cause every situation is totally different.Some people make it appear as if some single people are somehow weird or something.Maybe being married isn't for them.I don't know.Things that don't directly affect my own life I've never worried about it anyway.Live and let live.
Trucker16 Not that I need to explain anything to a complete stranger who knows nothing about why some people just happen to be single.I was married for over 30 years and treated my late husband well.I didn't become a widow out of choice.
So until you actually know why people are actually single don't make assumptions.
