I see him as a cowboy and showman. The whole world is his reality show and he's the main star. I'm sure he enjoys every minute of it.
Maybe some people in America hate him because they don't want to be seen like that by the rest of the world. They don't want people to think that they are the same like him.
I have no idea, actually. I don't pay too much attention to the news about him...
We all live in different time zones and if you keep your blogs closed when you are not online - it's difficult to comment on them.
Each time I left CS - I promised never to come back and deleted my profile. And then - when I came back - I opened a new one. I also wrote about some personal things using some of my previous profiles and thought it's better to close them.
Humans have intelligence (it's not that they use it all the time, but still). Apart from that, we are very weak and unprepared for life. Even our children need many years of care in order to become somewhat capable to survive. We've been relying on technology so much recently that we completely lost our ability to survive in nature. We're getting weaker and weaker each day...
After spending some time in Japan, I realized how many things we accept as TRUE only because we were taught to do so. Other people are taught to accept different values and a different approach to life. The more different cultures we have the opportunity to experience the more we can reevaluate what we were taught to be true and find our own way through life.
I was brought up in an atheist family that was only traditionally Orthodox Christian (meaning: celebrated Christmas, Easter, etc.). However, I was always interested in spirituality and read a lot about different religions and spiritual teachings. I have my own beliefs now and I'm satisfied with them. I don't need to share them with anyone.
My partner has to be an atheist, agnostic or "mildly spiritual". I could never be in a relationship with a religious person, although I respect all religions and people's beliefs and can be friends with anyone. However, love relationships are something completely different.
There are many people like this (and like me) in this world nowadays, so finding such a man will not be a problem.
You can easily make a free gmail address and use it for correspondence with unknown people from the internet ONLY. You can also delete it any time and then - make another one if the first one gets too many spam messages.
However, I don't find exchanging e-mail addresses very efficient. Writing e-mails requires a lot of time and is suitable for people looking for pen-palls only. If you want to meet someone online (find a date) - it's much more efficient to move from a dating site to skype or Whatsapp where you can chat, talk, even have a video chat...
I think that people should really stop spreading paranoia on this site. It shrinks already slim chances for people to meet anyone.
Some have a theory that humans had already lived on Mars, destroyed it and then moved to Earth. I wonder where we will go once we destroy this planet, too. Back to Mars?
The situation you described in your last post is - indeed - rude.
However, if you went on a date with someone once and you didn't like the person, do you really need to say that openly afterwards? Isn't it better to simply avoid meeting again, reply with short polite messages and then stop replying altogether?
Even more if you have never met, if you only exchanged messages online.
I actually learned this from one man from a dating site. He told me that if I didn't like someone, I should simply avoid (or stop) replying, because there's nothing more painful than receiving the message from the woman you liked just to find out that she said "No".
People on dating sites usually talk to (at least) several people at the same time. If they simply disappeared after you had a conversation for a while, it can mean that they met someone they liked or that they realized that there's no point in continuing the conversation and get involved too much (for example - due to distance).
One should expect this in online dating and shouldn't take it too personally.
