Have You Ever Questioned The Religion, Culture and Way Of Life That You're Born Into ?
I did! And As I grow older and able to see, feel and experience life, I' able to make sense of things around me and form my own belief.I was born Christian, spent many years with nuns, raised in very conservative society, with big loving family who raised me into a good person able to differentiate differences between good and bad, moral and immoral, acceptable and not acceptable according to norm in society.
I've sit, eat , work and sleep with people from different race, beliefs and culture...and I found we have one thing in common - we are all human being with a big need for love and acceptance and there's good and bad in all of us and religion has nothing to do with it.
I've learned that by accepting our differences from one another sets us all free and creates a better world.
I've learned that my religion does not make me a better person, my common sense and how my parents raised me has a lot to do with that. Religion will not save my a**, it will not make me happy, all religious books contains contains plenty bullshit. I believe doing good things for myself and others is enough to get me to heaven, if there's one.
I know with all my heart that whatever god maybe is a good god and sees the good and bad in everyone. If he's truly coming to judge everyone one day, I think he'll put me in the blue corner, among those non-judgemental, non-fear-mongering kind, loving and respectful people. Amen!

was talking to close friend earlier, she's Muslim, a good one but was telling me things that she does not like in her religion...many of them is questioning their religion just like I question mine...
if we don't ask and open our eyes we won't be able to see and feel the truth and the good of it...and let go of the bad...and set ourselves free.
I know that...but letting them know we are not putting up to their craziness anymore does bring some kind of balance here...they will completely take over this place if we let them
absolutely....let's start here
no instruction manual here either, I just live my life my way according to what I think and feel good for me and people around me...
I hope it's worth it for them
I still have a much higher selfworth than that...well some people will throw away their pride and dignity for few dollars , and that's already heaven for them so who are we judge ?
If there heaven and hell...I'll surely get to purgatory but those who talk too much of heavenly kingdom and to kill those who don't believe in what they believe in will surely burn in hell...or maybe not, trump will surely end up their too and could help them buy their way out.
That's called unstable
My parents taught me not to condemn other people's beliefs. And I have lived that way all my life.
Hi Crazyh, it's been long time since our last "teleconference"
My faith is a large part of me.
Good to see you.
Quite the opposite in fact.
no, we don't have to condemn other's belief, we have to look at our own, take the good from it and discard the bad...
yeah, those confrence call, miss them too, been a while...busy these days here trying to make an honest living but we should have that call again these days
ME TOO!.........................................................................................
glad to see you here...how are you doing?
I am doing well! Just stopped in for a few minutes...........
long day and night here...give me call sometime, same number
Okay! Talk Soon.........
Nope
I'm still with crazy (made me chuckle that) that there is too much of him. I like bloggers who have something to say. But repeating the same thing just makes my brain switch off from it.
I think fear of the unknown is what starts alot of divide when it's what should be bringingn people together.
No one has sole rights over this world over another...we all share it...so best to try get along or at the very least not to do harm.
I was raised Catholic but have long since discarded the outdated views of my religion and stick with the fundamental basics of it
If the Catholic Church may do the same they would see a resurgence of followers....
I do find a level of peace from my own religion.
Maybe if plp spoke about the good instead of the bad of their own religions we might stop to listen.
I was brought up in an atheist family that was only traditionally Orthodox Christian (meaning: celebrated Christmas, Easter, etc.). However, I was always interested in spirituality and read a lot about different religions and spiritual teachings. I have my own beliefs now and I'm satisfied with them. I don't need to share them with anyone.
My partner has to be an atheist, agnostic or "mildly spiritual". I could never be in a relationship with a religious person, although I respect all religions and people's beliefs and can be friends with anyone. However, love relationships are something completely different.
There are many people like this (and like me) in this world nowadays, so finding such a man will not be a problem.
Some people think that they and their belief will become better after condemning others'.
About the teleconference, our "mediator" seems to always busy tcob.
and conclude my soiree...
Aren't you amazed when you watch some documentary, some crazy scientist walking in to the Jungle encounter a tribe that had no touch with civilization yet they have a concept of a deity
I was not born into it. Wish I was tho, would have made me a better person. I chose the Religion and the direction of my path in life. Like most or anyone's life, it was filled with both good and bad, learning the hard way through experience rather than being influenced by 'friends' and literature.
