Ten was referring to the release of her own country from the Ottoman Empire which indeed was aided by the Russians and Romanians during the Russian /Turkish war during the 19th. Century.

I've been told that many times when I refuse to opt for a particular side in any discord.

As for my past I'm totally aware of it and our own "horrible history".I grew up in World War 2 so it makes me cringe when I see other countries warring with each other in today's modern society. We all have our own ideology and of course you will have differences of opinions but that does not equate to yours or mine being right. It's finding a balance.

I'm talking about social equality for everyone,instead of the discrimination that is rife across the World Executing young boys in Saudi because they dared to stand up and be counted ,the stoning of women etc.etc ,It's 2024 for goodness sake.

I will never take sides Ten , or label people ,as I want to see balance in a very unbalanced society before I depart this World

As for respect I have never thrust my ideology down anyone's throat just aired my own personal views on a particular topic which appears to go against the grain with some people.

What could I possibly learn from an interview between Carlson and Putin that I don't already know. Who do you consider has lied to me? Didn't Putin lie when he said he had no intention of attacking Ukraine ? Did Putin tell Carlson when the war would end? Did Carlson tell Putin Trump was going to win the next election.Seems Putin spent much of his time talking about the past and not the future which is of more interest to me Ten.

It's never been about sides for me actually as I'm all for equality for everyone .

I look upon that comment as a threat Grand. Mine's bigger than yours,what the hell is that about.? Russia attacked Ukraine after denying it would not , not the other way round.

Was it really to denatzify or was it to demilitarize the area to stop it joining N.A,T.O. No doubt you have the answer.Just what do you consider that this long drawn out conflict is proving.? It's time people in power stopped trying to be "top dog". This East /West divide is pointless and I get heartily sick of people condemning other countries when frankly all I see is a bloody great power struggle for dominance.

I look at the World as a whole and we are all part of it,so no I don't hate Putin,Trump,Biden, Xi Jinping or any other upstart wanting to take control, all I see is the futility of it all and the loss of so many innocent lives and for what.?

BRUSSELS — The European Union is not planning to sanction American far-right pundit Tucker Carlson for interviewing Russia’s President Vladimir Putin — or at least not yet.

“Currently there are no discussions in the relevant EU bodies linked to this specific person … the American person who is in Moscow,” EU Commission spokesperson for foreign affairs Peter Stano told reporters in Brussels on Thursday.

However, the spokesperson said, the EU can sanction “propagandists” who have a “track record” of manipulating information to “undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and to promote the illegal and brutal aggression by Putin.”

To be honest no as I have no time for the interviewer and not a fan of Putin as you know.

I saw snippets that led me to believe that it was not the interview people expected.

At the end of the day just what did it prove and how does it resolve all that is taking place. I saw it as a sales pitch for Trump and self promotion of Putin so it was hardly worth my time.

Strictly speaking that's not a true Butcher. The U.K. supports Israel's right to defend itself from Hammas but is providing support for Palestinians.

You cannot blame the demise of America on one man after a term in office gal. You have legislation about the age acceptable for a President but no legislation about their age limit which is ridiculous when you look at the past decade and who has been in power.

We have the same issues in the U.K whenever a P.M. has issues with the country we blame him. Look at covid when we had 3 P.M's in 2 months. lol

Hopefully your country has learned that democracy is only as good as the people—all of you—who make it, one person, one vote, one act of love and solidarity at a time.

You need to do some homework as the U.S has been struggling for years.

In the past 50 years, despite overall economic growth, the quality of life for most Americans has declined. The wealthy have become wealthier, while the incomes and wages of the average American family have stagnated.

Elite overproduction has a lot to answer for.

Here's mine. It was a 2 hour lecture on Russian history not an interview, and with some really incredibly ludicrous comments thrown in plus a great deal of self promotion.

Like watching paint dry to be honest.

To my knowledge Rupert Murdoch sacked Carlson and another "reporter" due to" lies "about a stolen election with regards to the Dominion Company who consequently sued Fox along with 2 other media companies.

I've watched Carlson on videos he made about 15 years ago where he categorically argues against conspiracy theories and lies ,then does the opposite when working for Fox news .
