IF there is only one true God then He or She is 100% the true God. If you put 99 other false gods into the equation the true God is still the 100% true God, not 1%. Their status doesn't change, only your perception and choice has changed.
It seems that Trump is well endorsed by his Party, so that in itself removes the second choice for me. Therefore, in terms of Party or Candidate, there is only one choice, if we want to change things for the better.
Knocking people and being negative doesn't impress me, I stop listening. Making a good case and promoting people in the best way that you can is what I consider to be beneficial and worth listening to.
I don't have a political view on American politics and I kept an open mind. While watching this speech by Biden I was aware of the eloquent rhetoric and political speak as used by candidates of all hues prior to elections. However this was not prominent in his speech. He held my attention. He is presidential and has lived politics and it shows. He has a tough job ahead, not only to guide the country through the difficult times ahead but he has to get the country and the people back on track. I think with an enormous effort it might be possible, but it will mean tight control and hard choices. Good wishes to him and his crew.
Time to get back to some kind of reality and normality. I watched Biden's speech and feel that he's your guy to do it, if he's true to to his word. He's coherent and believable. Regardless of who wins most of the extremist groups will still be there but you need someone who will take action to deal with them, to show that America won't tolerate them. I think in time to come people will look back at the past 4 years and see it for what it was.
If a person is engrossed mainly or wholly in themselves there is little chance of inner happiness. If a person concerns themselves with other people too, then friendships can evolve and happiness ensues. If you do something for someone else knowing that they will be pleased with you and reward you in some way, that is a false pretence and your happiness is short lived, similar to a sugar fix. If you tell people about a good deed which you have done knowing that they will admire and congratulate you, that is wrong too. If you invite advice and receive it, and don't acknowledge it, that is not right. If Empathy doesn't come naturally to you, it is worth experimenting, learning how to do it. Start by being nice to shop keepers, you will feel better if they smile and are nice back to you, this can build to make a good day. Never complain. Don't get angry with people, your attitude may have caused the problem which you now find yourself facing. Look for solutions to diffuse and rectify the problem. Be pro-active, happiness will be the natural result.

Back to Philipsen. In the summer while my house is cool the attic is unbearably hot. I would think that it would melt a bar of chocolate, but I didn't try that. 5 minutes is enough for me up there. However I wondered if you could get advice from the relevant agency about your problem. A landlord probably wouldn't get away without insulating the underside of the roof in an attic room in Ireland. It would have to be considered habitable and yours is not. Also the roof could be painted with a reflective paint, some flat roofs are. A drawback would be that you couldn't live there while work was being carried out. I don't know if you read these comments. (Respond with the word 'Cool' if you have. )

It may be poor ventilation. Check the Window or wall vent. Sometimes you find that someone has stuffed paper in them. Older houses had ventilators, new ones often don't. If there are no ventilators, you should fit one or at least open the window or door. A de-humidifier won't give you fresh air. Maybe talk to a builder.
The additional number of deaths due to the Virus will be determined by checking the death trend rate over the past few years. Some deaths were expedited by the virus and are skewing the overall perceived death rate actually caused solely by the virus. Maybe quarterly figures are already available, but annual figures will clear it up. I suspect that the rise in overall deaths this year will be up on the normal trend, but when the figures are compared to the projected trend we will find that the results will not be as bad as they appear now. If you want me to clarify further, I will.
Thanks for that information Jim, you saved me a lot of time. I did notice that his answers were direct, no hesitation in giving up names when asked, which I found interesting. Just one more question, did he implicate anybody who might pose a danger to him later on. I starting to see why you blogged about him.
I've seen idiots being hired because they make a good case for themselves at interview stage. Later it becomes apparent that they are incompetent and are dispensed with. I've seen others who are excellent at their work but the boss just doesn't like them and they are shifted sideways until they quit. This is life and no different in Trumps case except that it happens tenfold. The point here is believing somebody who was paid to lie, and may hold a grudge. The thing I don't understand, without knowing more, is why he sang like a canary in court. Did he do a deal and are they now going after all these other people implicated by Cohen?
Jim, you're falling into the bias trap. Your judgement appears to be impaired. Your source of the truth is a slime-ball, a professional liar and creator of subterfuge, someone who has probably injured innocent people in order to achieve his goal. Someone who has skin in the game. From a neutral viewpoint this does not look good coming from you. Nobody can say for sure that these things didn't happen, but it's all about the source. If this was presented to a jury as evidence you would probably not get a majority. You can do better, choose better evidence and give us a challenge.

Jim, I am referring to prescription Nasal Sprays that are used for Allergic rhinitis, Asthma etc. There are others like Fluticasone furoate which includes a steroid. These products are already on the market.
When I compared it to washing hands I meant might there be something in the product which may dissolve the outer layer of the virus and kill it, which is nothing complicated, not a chemical. By 'they', I meant researchers, often in Universities. I asked you because of your background. I noticed your blog is in Health, not comedy, so on topic.
