Ukraine warns of blockade

Russian media (TV) declared last month all of Ukraine is devil worshipers (when not being Nazis ). Last night Vladimir was all upset that the Pope met with Transgender people in the Vatican (and wore a transgender cross). Putin's actions in declaring war on peaceful Ukraine and bombing hospitals and kindergartens as well as applauding an execution by sledge hammer by people under his command certainly justifies labeling him a Satan worshiper.

It doesn't matter what he is called. As a War Criminal he (and about 3,000 followers) are heading to the gallows not too many years in the future.

Life in rural Russia, the reality

It is part of how Putin failed Russia. When the USSR collapsed and Yeltsin was in charge a lot of his time was spent trying to push improvements in Russia's infrastructure. There was hope Putin would do the same, but instead he took money from school and highway and hospital projects so he could build a stronger army. Factories that didn make military things were mostly shut down. There are many towns in eastern and northern Russia that literlly have no paved roads going to the and many are reachable only by rail or plane. The recent decision by Putin to cancel rail service to some has left the occupants of those towns high and dry. The slow cutback in Russian air transit is also causing serious hardships. There was a recent news story about a clinic that had it's outhouse stolen and used for firewood this past winter. Running water is not common in many Russian towns. The maker of this video has made several other videos showing that in his area things are really sad. Those with connections moved away, the factories are gone and officially even though people still live there Central government has labeled the towns abandoned and send no more resources.

How many more videos he can post before the FSB notices him is anyone's guess.

Russian Ruble falls to new low

You speculate about future economic events, something people on Wall Street wish they were good aat, but are often proved wrong, but I report what is. Russia's Ruble is worth only 1 penny and (speculation) is believed to continue falling. This is why China only accepts Russian payments in Yuan. Which of course makes the Chinese currency more valuable and puts more downward pressure on the Ruble.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

You can now add Robotyne to the list.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

Chump change. During our decade or two in Afghanistan we spent 9 Billion dollars per month. Before anyone starts whining about the cost of the F-16s, let us note they are, although greatly superior to much of what Russia has, by current US standards an obsolete fighter currently being pulled out of USS service and without sending some to Ukraine they would all be heading to our huge airplane scrap yard. Their current depreciated value is based on the cost of the metal in them.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

Butcher, she is right. Some of the things you write here, I wonder sometimes if you make them up or if you are believing the tripe Vladimir and Margarita make up on Russian State TV and the RT channel. As the ladies have stated, in 18 months, unless the visas are extend (which they probably will be) the refugees would have to leave, but not for over a year and a half.

Russia under Putin on numerous occasions attempted and committed acts of assassination against people inside the UK. Those murders abd attempted murders of people inside the UK were both terrorist and by definition state spomsored Acts of War So even if itt is a decade later, UK is fully within it's rights in returning the favor.

Russia began using depleted Uranium ammunition against Ukraine almost a year ago. This fully justified Ukraine using such ammunition against Russia. Ukraine didn't have any, but the West has been happy to supply it.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

So many have that thought, but it is not really the rule. First the US is hands off as far as how Ukraine fights it's war with Russia. The White House placed only 1 rule. Weapons supplied by the US should not be used inside the land of Russia as it was in 1994. Some, but not all EU and other countries have also asked for that, but not all. Turkey (and Iran) have not placed any rules on where their drones can be used. The US Joint Chiefs have made intelligence assets more or less accessible by Ukraine and provide advice but in no way is that advice orders. In fat Ukraine has ignored US advice several times regarding the current offensive. That is there right. also Ukraine has begun making their own long range drones and they can use them where ever and how ever they wish. As Moscow which frequently (daily) launches attacks inside Ukraine from inside Russia, what goes around comes around.

Noting also the prohibition against shelling or bombing Russia with US weapons is just a White House rule that President Biden can change at any time. If the world wants Ukraine to win this war, then if Putin won't pull out of Crimea, leveling much of Russia may be the only way. Putin's choice.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

Yes sure. Denys Davydov and the Enforcer and others talked about that withdrawal yesterday. Russia is expected to attempt to capture Kuipiansk in the near future. In order that Ukraine may saturate the area with artillery fire and terminate the advance villages in the path of fire are being pre-evacuated. This will give Ukraine's army total freedom to rain down fire without having to worry about innocents in the line of fire. Basically a mini-DMZ is being created where anything that moves must be Russian and can be lit from above.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

There is no need to seperate your questions into different posts.
Well other than volunteers who join Ukraine's foreign legion I am not sure who you mean when you say Ukraine and friends. We agree if provoked enough Poland may turn Belarus into rubble, but that has nothing to do with Ukraine. Regarding Ukraine winning the war without dirty tricks, whose rule book of how a war is to be fought are you reading? Throw it out. It is a comic book. As the saying does, all is fair in love and war. Russia found it fair to hell maternity hospitals and grain warehouses, and as we saw yesterday and today, in Moscow (and elsewhere in Russia) things are suddenly going boom and burning quite nicely. Russia reports the optical gun sight factory that exploded yesterday in the Moscow suburbs had someone careless with a cigarette smoking near some stored fireworks set aside for celebrations. Those videos on Telegram of stored artillery shells blown out of the factory building well that is just an optical illusion. Those fireworks just look like artillery shells. The multiple explosions at the Moscow airport this morning, the burning bomber,, the huge fire, well that was just someone smoking carelessly. Fact is Russia has had more explosions this year than in the past 10 years combined. Seems fair to me. Bomb hospitals, kindergartens and grain warehouses, expect to hear loud noises see some smoke at home.

There is no reason for Ukraine to split anything except Russia. Crimea is part of Ukraine and by invading it, Russia has forsaken future free access to the Black Sea for at least 80 years. It may take another 6 or 7 months to make that so, but the action is well underway.

What was the sad waste of life was the show Ukraine had to put on around Bakhumet. Nothing important there, but Russia had to be convinced Ukraine thought it was important, and they swallowed the bait hook line and sinker. Look at all the trench lines Russia built in the North, you caan see them on the DeepState website.. They moved every spare man they had to surround a worthless town no one cares about. Hitler insisting the crossing will be at Pas-de-Calais and not Normandy comes to mind. The instant Russia decided to not bother building trenches near the Dniepre because it was so wide then blew up the dam keeping it wide, they messed up big time. All the supply route bridges from Kerch are blown. The E58 is the only supply route from Crimea left for the forces around Bakhumet and the Russians near Kherson. If Ukraine cuts that there is almost nothing between them and the border of Crimea. Sure Russia can pull forces off Bakhumet, but then it will lose Bakhumet. Either way Russia lost. Meanwhile more things go boom inside Russia where the Russian people can see them and know Russia lied when it claimed it was winning.

RE: With THIS blog, I'm risking an injury

Glad to hear both.

RE: Releasing UFO info? Please...

If you are in Ireland watching some kind of light in the sky, how on Earth would you expect him to see it from New Zealand? LoL Totally opposite sides of the planet.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

Those 'Independent' reports lie. Are you the one writing them? LoL With the exception of guards in the re-opened Embassies in Kiev no active duty members of NATO countries are assigned (or likely to be) assigned to fight in Ukraine. Actually if NATO does get involved as a force St. Petersburg and Moscow is where you will see them. Russia's border defenses have been stripped pretty bare with a lot of dead Russian border guards dead in Ukraine.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

I already did. Read this again. "The rumor is Ukraine has crossed the Dniepre River in force, and pierced the first Russian line in the vicinity of Kozachi Laheri "

Russian Ruble falls to new low

Oh very much. Once Ukraine fully gets back Crimea and controls the Black Sea while Russia becomes like Afghanistan with civil wars in every regioon Ukraine will be one of the strongest members of the EU. I don't see the financial benefits as taking more than 4 or 5 years.

RE: How will SA be affected if a nuclear war broke out in Europe?

Shouldn't have said never. I do have an Honorable Discharge, but that was many decades ago. More recently a State made me a Warrant, but after a decade of that I retired and went inactive reserve. The between times were spent meeting people under one alphabet soup or another and giving people deserving of one some really bad days. I did Blackwarer a bit, but even that was almost a decade ago. These days I just putter about helping one neighbor with her horses, helping another re-wire and paint her house, just being a neighborhood handy man for fun (when not making coffee for travelers at a 711).

Ukraine warns of blockade

The US economy is not the 3rd world economy of Russia. Most of what has been given to Ukraine is 30 and 40 year old pieces of Cold War equipment that was going to the scrap heap if a use was not found for it. Your dollar figure is a little excessivly high. Depreciation has to be done on things like old M113 APCs left over from the Vietnam conflict and Hummers that were new in 1990 and have had many miles since then. Much of the value of the M1A1 Abrams tanks being pulled out of the depot left behind in Kuwait in 1989 is based on the cost of refitting them with newer electronics and getting their engines running again. In any case the total dollar value of what the US has spent in only about 4% of the total US defense budget. In return for that trivial (to the US) expenditure the Russian military capacity to wage land war has been reduced by at least 40% in equipment and most of their army personnel are simply dead. The 'lucky' ones hobble around with missing arms and legs. <The price of following a Satan worshipper like Putin.> The great Russian Black Sea fleet began the war with about 30 ships. Over half of them are now sunk or sitting in a dry dock waiting for repairs that may never happen due to devaluation of the ruble and a lack of supplies. The balance of the Russian fleet either hides in the Sea of Azov or docks in Sevatopol behind nets to block the drones that would otherwise sink them at the dock.

The oil tanker that was struck was heading to Russia to pick up oil and was therefore empty, so there is no oil spill from it. An Eco-friendly attack.

Your counting skills are suspect with regards to the African countries. Only a few leaders went to the recent conference and even fewer are voicing the wishes you indicate. Most of Africa (understandably) prefers dollars to worthless rubles. Yes, the leaders placed in power by Russian acts of terror want continued Russian support so that their own people don't hack them apart with Pangas and feed the corpses to the vultures.

Russian social media abuzz with the rumor

LoL. Although Jomini completely agrees with you in his 'Art of War,' Sun Tzu completely disagrees in his version of the same book. Sun Txu thought that was the best place to be because the men will fight harder if retreat is improbable. He may be correct.

In typical Russian military brilliance Russia replaced the VDV troops who were holding that area with poorly trained conscripts. A few cluster shells on their line and they abandoned their positions and ran away (some fun to watch videos of it are on Telegram, both drone and cell phone filmed). Much of the Russian artillery covering that area was itself targeted and those units no longer exist. Then Ukraine moved into the abandoned positions.

As you anticipated Russia did send relief forces in, but Ukraine's attack was well p-anned and an ambush was in place. Although some were killed outright many of the Russians surrendered enmass. Much useful information was gathered from their cell phones, including that of the Major commanding the relief column. We should expect those Russians captured to volunteer more information as interviews progress. More Ukrainians had arrived as of this morning and the area under Ukraine's control expands.

Russian morons actually believed the war was about the worthless salt mines of Bakhmut.

RE: With THIS blog, I'm risking an injury

I wouldn't worry too much about his fate yet.
To date there have been fewer than 10actual Americans killed in the fighting in Ukraine. Your indicating you heard from Namron in September cuts the number of possibles to fewer than half. The great majority of the dead are under 30 years of age. In many prior posts and emails Namron described himself as being in his 50s. I am not seeing any death reports of Americans who are over 60 years of age dying in Ukraine. Likewise a few years ago a women from Malta who hung out here on CS, shared his true name with me. I do not see that name on the list of known American combat deaths in Ukraine. Admittedly sometimes when joining a foreign army Americans use a bogus name for enlistment purposes. We saw a lot of that with Americans who volunteered to fight for Rhodesia in those days. However, there is no need to use an alias in this conflict (and most discuss their stint fighting with Ukraine with justifiable pride) and there hasn't been any noticeable controversy about the identity of the Americans deceased in Ukraine.

RE: How will SA be affected if a nuclear war broke out in Europe?

rolling on the floor laughing Guilty. I make the best hunting ammo of any 20 gunsmith shops in this area. Yes, some sort of association with different American militaries is a very good way to describe it. The association varies from decade to decade. Sometimes none, and poof they ringing my phone or knocking on my door again and offering money if I do stuff (admittedly sometimes just read a few pages and offer an opinion).
Yes I have repaired or rebuilt a few AKs. Made ghost guns too, ARs, Glock clones, 1911s, etc. Luckily that is still legal in most of the US. I may do a comparative video about the AK vs the M4, but I also think Smallarmssolutions (not to mentions Forgottenweapons and inrangeTV) beat me to it, so what would the point be? I had a neighbor woman come here to try an AK the yesterday. I have to agree with her assessment both the AK and the M4 are a lot easier to hit moving targets with when they have red dot sights on them. It was an enjoyable visit. Amongst other things we compared gamma counts on a legal Cesium137 source on out respective gamma detection devices. Totally useless for the larger counts of course, but there is only 1 place in the US where readings that high can be lawfully obtained for a private citizen. Almost time to send one of my devices back there for a recertification. Hers just came back with a new sticker. Good for years to come.

I am not sure how you make the jump to disabled or wounded vets, but yes, they need more support and money to VA programs. I have done some volunteering for WoundedWarrriors and many more volunteers and donations are welcome.

I stand corrected on the world's population. It is currently 8.1 Billion people. Only 1/16th (what is that, 6.25%?) of us would be killed according to the video in the nuclear exchange Luke stays up nights worrying about, while the rest of us dream of strawberry shortcake and hot chocolate and gorgeous women in bikinis on sunny tropical beaches. I don't think the existence of humanity is in danger from an event that only kills fewer than 7% of us. If nothing else the nuclear winter will end the speculation and worry about global warming.

RE: Feeling more confident and happier as I grow older...

Hi Crazy. wave

I have totally missed your presence here (and elsewhere). It is good to see you back. Hope we see more of you.

RE: Releasing UFO info? Please...

You must be a unique human and a medical marvel as no other human has demonstrated an ability to feel Gamma radiation. The rapidity of it's effects on human tissue is directly related to hour many particles are involved. Often, such as in John Wayne's case years go by before the first cancer. Of course something insanely hot like the debris from Chernobyl or the demon core accidents can have a person supine and throwing up within a few hours, but before their cells died, they felt nothing. If a ship's power source or engines used radioactives, odds are those materials would be pretty heavily shielded to prevent anything from leaking out. Doing otherwise would lead to bad PR.

RE: If

The aging over 60 white Americans don't get it. Their time in the sun ended back in the 1970s. They no longer constitute a majority vote in the US. Slava Democracy. As seen in 2020 and onwards only candidates that appeal to the so-called minority groups will win in future major elections. Gone are the days of religious belief dominated government. The time is ripe for a transsexual Republican candidate of color. .

RE: How will SA be affected if a nuclear war broke out in Europe?

But with 6 Billion+ people on the planet, should we worry about an event that only kills a mere half billion?

Noting this simulation does not include the sleeper subs which at the start of the conflict go deep and wait 2 or 3 weeks before launching their salvo so as to catch enemy leaders coming out of their bunkers.

US Congressional UFO (UAP) hearing yesterday

If you really want to see some strange stuff, pick up a modern military quality NVD (PVS12 or higher) and take a look at the night sky. There is a lot of stuff not even visible by normal telescope but plainly there in the spectrums beyond what an unassisted eye can see.

US Congressional UFO (UAP) hearing yesterday

At the Congressional hearing it was testified the US is in possession of biological specimens. It was not clarified as whether that meant living or dead.

Ukraine warns of blockade

LoL less than 4% of this year's military budget has been spent by the US on aid to Ukraine. It seems to be money very well spent. Most of what has been sent to Ukraine is older equipment pulled out of 'mothball' storage. Even 40 year old Western equipment that would otherwise be eventually disassembled is proving itself superior on the battlefield to the Russian junk most it's troops are sent to their death with. Although some experimental weapons systems have been pushed forward by contractors (as private donations) for the most part Ukraine has not yet received any systems that are top of the line cutting edge. It doesn't need them. The old cast off equipment is good enough for that small nation to bloody Russia's nose and bring it to a stop.

Who are the enemies you write of? Do you mean North Korea? That is the only country the US is still technically at war with. Russia declared itself to be an enemy of the US very long ago (as anyone who follows Russian Federal TV knows well). So we aren't worried about Russia suddenly declaring the US an enemy. It already did so.

You do raise a point though in the wrong direction. Look at how much Russia has squandered on Putin's opium pipe fantasy of conquering the planet as the new Russian Tsar. Literally hundreds of trillions of Russian rubles have been lost from Russia's oil and gas incomes. Just shy of a quarter million dead Russian soldiers fertilizing Ukraine's fields with their blood, Most or Russia's smartest young people fled Russia before last September and have zero intention of ever returning. Reports of starvation in remote villages of Russia, Lack of modern hospitals and medical staff and almost no pharmaceuticals left for Russia's civilian population. Armed insurrections now in several provinces of Russia. Putin is the worse enemy Russia ever had.

Just an observation, the brilliance of Russian military leadership has become legendary. Here in a recent example this week we see a Russian Lieutenant lining his men up for a lecture on the front lines. Of course such stupidity was immediately noticed by the controllers of over head drones.

In only a few seconds the stupidly obedient Russian soldiers learned that following the orders of Russian leaders has fatal consequences.

The 3rd photo I can't post hear would show Russia does indeed continue to provide fertilizer to Ukraine.

US Congressional UFO (UAP) hearing yesterday

The autopsy with the Star Trek actor was fake of course. If you have ever taken a large animal or person apart by hand you would notice the falseness of that video immediately. Real critters have several webs of connective tissues to hold each organ in it's proper position inside the torso. Even aliens would because life would be difficult if the organs just flop around inside the body changing position and orientation with each step. But the fakes in the fake autopsy footage didn't. The fake aliens in Battle for LA were much better done that way.

Ukraine warns of blockade

Russia confirms it was real. I agree the video has superb resolution considering this was an Internet feed from 100s of miles away from the control node. Weird how people on land can't get signal on their cell phone, sometimes when only a mile from the tower, but this little modified Jet Ski has enough bandwidth connectivity not only for guidance but also for sending live video. LoL

Ukraine warns of blockade

It has already been done. The name of the tanker was Sig. It is one the sanctioned list as it is both Russian owned and under contract to the Russian military. Several of the shadow fleet fall under one or more of those sanctions.

Noting also during WW2 if a ship was in an area a warning had been given about, then whenever possible it was sunk. Sinking of Merchant ships bringing supplies to the UK, or ro and fromJapan was a thing done by both the Axis and the Allies.
