Ukraine warns of blockade

In response to Russia's threat to destroy civilian vessels carrying grain from Odessa and other parts of Ukraine, Ukraine has issued it's own Black Sea warning.
Any vessel entering the Black Sea intending trade with Russia may find itself at risk of being sunk, either by Russian mines or Ukrainian drones.

Yesterday, a Russian owed oil tanker attempting to pass under the Kerch Bridge received a (filmed) drone strike in the engine compartment area. The tanker was empty and en route to pick up a shipment of oil which will now not be sold. Further strikes on other shipping is probable.

Watch the Russian oil tanker take a hit.

Any other footage because it looks fake
Ken, you look so happy in your photo, fuk me, did you have a hard paper round or what?
Ukraine could be in deep shit if they start attacking oil tankers Ken, the Russians have a shadow fleet of oil tankers that carry their oil.. This shadow fleet of oil tankers are not all Russian owned ships..
It has already been done. The name of the tanker was Sig. It is one the sanctioned list as it is both Russian owned and under contract to the Russian military. Several of the shadow fleet fall under one or more of those sanctions.

Noting also during WW2 if a ship was in an area a warning had been given about, then whenever possible it was sunk. Sinking of Merchant ships bringing supplies to the UK, or ro and fromJapan was a thing done by both the Axis and the Allies.
Russia confirms it was real. I agree the video has superb resolution considering this was an Internet feed from 100s of miles away from the control node. Weird how people on land can't get signal on their cell phone, sometimes when only a mile from the tower, but this little modified Jet Ski has enough bandwidth connectivity not only for guidance but also for sending live video. LoL
It's film footage from a Thunderbirds episode Hooha.. laugh
No one gives a bollocks about US sanctions any more Ken, i'm amazed that western countries support terrorist attacks on unarmed people in the Donbas region..
Then to support attacks on unarmed oil tankers, the Black sea will be the Black sea of oil the way things are going..
I did see in antiwar news that it's suspected that it was British shadow missile that hit the Crimean bridge the other week, and the French are sending long range missiles to the Ukraine..

Anyone added up the cost the west has thrown at this war Ken ? it would be money better spent on countries domestic economies rather making enemies internationally..
Tell that to Putin...
Or have you forgotten the fact that Putin invaded Ukraine...
I think sanctions are a last resort...Putin should have taken the hint...but war is not about justice...greed is the real culprit...illusions of grandeur from the Kremlin?...Putin behind this dream...
Putin does not care about "his people"...they have lost their lives ...others have suffered as well as a result of this needless invasion...or delusional machinations...

LoL less than 4% of this year's military budget has been spent by the US on aid to Ukraine. It seems to be money very well spent. Most of what has been sent to Ukraine is older equipment pulled out of 'mothball' storage. Even 40 year old Western equipment that would otherwise be eventually disassembled is proving itself superior on the battlefield to the Russian junk most it's troops are sent to their death with. Although some experimental weapons systems have been pushed forward by contractors (as private donations) for the most part Ukraine has not yet received any systems that are top of the line cutting edge. It doesn't need them. The old cast off equipment is good enough for that small nation to bloody Russia's nose and bring it to a stop.

Who are the enemies you write of? Do you mean North Korea? That is the only country the US is still technically at war with. Russia declared itself to be an enemy of the US very long ago (as anyone who follows Russian Federal TV knows well). So we aren't worried about Russia suddenly declaring the US an enemy. It already did so.

You do raise a point though in the wrong direction. Look at how much Russia has squandered on Putin's opium pipe fantasy of conquering the planet as the new Russian Tsar. Literally hundreds of trillions of Russian rubles have been lost from Russia's oil and gas incomes. Just shy of a quarter million dead Russian soldiers fertilizing Ukraine's fields with their blood, Most or Russia's smartest young people fled Russia before last September and have zero intention of ever returning. Reports of starvation in remote villages of Russia, Lack of modern hospitals and medical staff and almost no pharmaceuticals left for Russia's civilian population. Armed insurrections now in several provinces of Russia. Putin is the worse enemy Russia ever had.

Just an observation, the brilliance of Russian military leadership has become legendary. Here in a recent example this week we see a Russian Lieutenant lining his men up for a lecture on the front lines. Of course such stupidity was immediately noticed by the controllers of over head drones.

In only a few seconds the stupidly obedient Russian soldiers learned that following the orders of Russian leaders has fatal consequences.

The 3rd photo I can't post hear would show Russia does indeed continue to provide fertilizer to Ukraine.
Antiwar news has the $ price the US has given in aid to the Ukraine since the start of this war, it's 66 billion Ken..

Have you got anything on the oil spill from the Ukrainian attack on that oil tanker Ken ?

If you look at Africa Ken many countries are telling the western people to leave their countries, and they are turning to Russia and the Wagner group for security in their countries..
The US economy is not the 3rd world economy of Russia. Most of what has been given to Ukraine is 30 and 40 year old pieces of Cold War equipment that was going to the scrap heap if a use was not found for it. Your dollar figure is a little excessivly high. Depreciation has to be done on things like old M113 APCs left over from the Vietnam conflict and Hummers that were new in 1990 and have had many miles since then. Much of the value of the M1A1 Abrams tanks being pulled out of the depot left behind in Kuwait in 1989 is based on the cost of refitting them with newer electronics and getting their engines running again. In any case the total dollar value of what the US has spent in only about 4% of the total US defense budget. In return for that trivial (to the US) expenditure the Russian military capacity to wage land war has been reduced by at least 40% in equipment and most of their army personnel are simply dead. The 'lucky' ones hobble around with missing arms and legs. <The price of following a Satan worshipper like Putin.> The great Russian Black Sea fleet began the war with about 30 ships. Over half of them are now sunk or sitting in a dry dock waiting for repairs that may never happen due to devaluation of the ruble and a lack of supplies. The balance of the Russian fleet either hides in the Sea of Azov or docks in Sevatopol behind nets to block the drones that would otherwise sink them at the dock.

The oil tanker that was struck was heading to Russia to pick up oil and was therefore empty, so there is no oil spill from it. An Eco-friendly attack.

Your counting skills are suspect with regards to the African countries. Only a few leaders went to the recent conference and even fewer are voicing the wishes you indicate. Most of Africa (understandably) prefers dollars to worthless rubles. Yes, the leaders placed in power by Russian acts of terror want continued Russian support so that their own people don't hack them apart with Pangas and feed the corpses to the vultures.
The US aid that's handed out to any country is probably part of the way the US balances it's books, probably mostly righting off taxes with old western military junk Ken..

The problems in Africa are the western countries Ken and African leaders see it a mile away, France is looking to invade Niger but there are 5 countries that will back Niger;; Russia, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea and Algeria..

Putin a Satan worshipper now Ken dunno have you taken your medication today mate laugh
Russian media (TV) declared last month all of Ukraine is devil worshipers (when not being Nazis ). Last night Vladimir was all upset that the Pope met with Transgender people in the Vatican (and wore a transgender cross). Putin's actions in declaring war on peaceful Ukraine and bombing hospitals and kindergartens as well as applauding an execution by sledge hammer by people under his command certainly justifies labeling him a Satan worshiper.

It doesn't matter what he is called. As a War Criminal he (and about 3,000 followers) are heading to the gallows not too many years in the future.
rasPutin tried to increase his legacy to the Russian people. He attacked while the US President was a weak person. He forgot how that plays. Europe responded and weak Democratic presidents always support Western Europe. He has done a major disservice to his country and is lucky it hasn't gone to WW III. It would be a short war and the end of Russia, a large part of which would end up Chinese.
LoL, it still might. Taking back the lands Peter the Great stole from China would definitely end China's financial crisis as well as make talk of invading Taiwan look sillier than it is already is. Those Northern Russian ports should go back to China and that would really increase China's trade capability, and the oil and gas would be theirs again too.
I'm back Ken grin We were talking Russian economics on your other blog, i want to point a few things out for you Ken that comes from the US side..

Weaponizing the world reserve currency with sanctions, China and many other countries are pointing this out..

Another thing the US did was invade Iraq partly because it was taking 3 US dollars to make up 1 Iraqi Dinar, then the US took control of the Iraqi central bank printed money and devalued the Iraqi currency..

The word on the net is that the US dollar has now come up against a BRICS wall frustrated and most likely the Euro is in the same boat..
Wrong blog. This one is about the Naval blockade Look for the one about the unhappy Russian economist.

Possibility of some more naval drone activity soon.
.
Ken...

It appears despite that Tucker Carlson was fired for knowingly spreading misinformation and the Company he worked for had to cough up close to a billion in fines/damages...some here continue to believe the bs emanating out of his mouth and others like him as well...

What's the point...they live in a different reality...

confused
Right you are Ken wrong blog thumbs up Other suggestions that are coming from the Russia Ukraine peace talks is that the US has prolonged the Ukraine in order to profit from it, you know like the new weapons deals that the US weapons manufactures picked up to rearm NATO countries that donated weapons..
Russia would be saying this obviously but their is possibility that Zelensky may say this too..

I like your sanction/disable comment tactics on your blogs Ken, super stylish bro..
The increase in NATO spending was a long term publicly goal of the Trump administration. On numerous offasions former President Trump made speeches that many NATO countries ignored, about NATO's European member's lack of military spending. It took Putin to make it happen.

The US appreciates the help the war criminal Putin provided in motivating NATO members listen to Trump and increase their military spending. That the current conflict in Ukraine shows all observers the general superiority of even obsolescent US weapons systems to current weapons produced in Russia is a nice Easter egg given by Putin. Any concern that the new purchases would be of Russian built equipment is now laughable given the poor performance even the newest Russian equipment is displaying. Some nations (not in NATO) are actually beginning to return hardware to Russia while at the same time discussing purchases of US made equipment to replace it.

The flood of increased purchase orders of US made weapons and accessories (such as artillery shells, NVDs, optics, etc.) from observers of the conflict is of benefit to the US economy. In several locations industrial families now profitably employ people who did not have jobs before Putin invaded Ukraine and the purchase orders from watching countries began flowing in. Poland alone has ordered 500(!) complete HIMARS systems. We thank Putin for demonstrating the inferiority of Russian weapons systems and the resultant boost in US earnings.

You are absolutely correct about my blogs. When I find a topic has been beaten to death, or a conversation in one of my blogs is somehow straying well off the course of the blog title, I will freeze it or shut it down as an alternative to simply deleting off-topic comments from people wishing to hold other discussions.

Persons wishing to discuss other topics of interest to them are perfectly free under CS rules to display some creativity and author their own blogs. Who knows? Other people may even actually read them.

Anyway this blog, which is intended to be about Ukrainian Black Sea naval operations appears to have drifted instead into an irrelevant discussion of US military sales. Recent statements by Turkey and the visibly weakening Russian naval position in the Black Sea region make the blog topic as irrelevant as a discussion of what the weather was like the day the Bastille was stormed, or how were the French prison guards armed? Irrelevant, done deal. No point in discussing it. So yes, I will freeze this blog too.
