Rita with the nasal Ocker Aussie accent. I occasionally watch a fleeting moment of SKY when I need a dose of rage. Reminds me of the Benzedrine inhaler my parents used for clearing the stuffy nose or blocked sinus int the early 50s.

Clearly that was an edited clip of the mayor where it was stopped short of him pointng out that if NYC wasn't the only sanctuary city, then they wouldn't be overwhelmed.

Clearly his original statement about NYC being a sanctuary city was about traditional American values that the Conservatives have conveniently ditched.

This is no more unbiased, or not staged by sensationalist journalism than one of Chancer's selective videos.

Ths issue is a little more complicated than either letting the entire world populaton live in the US (or UK), or building a wall, or letting people drown in the sea. It's about time we started looking for a range of effective, humane (and, ahem, Christian) global solutions.

I didn’t watch the video...

What many of you do not understand...is that those who say they want to be a sanctuary city..see it differently once they come to their city...It is overwhelming...

Not their problem as long as they keep them in the border cities...

Agree. Let's start by letting people like Mohammar Gaddafi live. Secondly let the Syrian regime stay and the American troops pull back from that country. No more western backed wars in Africa over resourses that private western countries want a piece of, same in the middle east. Respect Russia and China and work with them and not against them. Listen to India, they'll soon have 20% of the population on this planet.

LoL, Qaddafi died not at the hands of Western soldiers but in a Muslim uprising from an teenaged male who said he was rape victim of Qaddafi sticking a bayonet up Qaddafi's rectum repeatedly and twisting it each time as Qaddafi lay on a stretcher. Although briefly the subject of some International controversy for his deed, local officials determined they felt it was justified and released the young man. Karma

If Russian troops pull out of Syria the US may do likewise after a new President (not related to, or chosen by the Kremlin) is installed.

No more Russian backed wars in Africa for resources Russia wants a piece of. Same in Yemen and other mid-Eastern nations.

Russia has yet to do anything deserving of respect. Should we respect crashing a lunar probe? Should we respect the invasion of Feorgia or the blowing up of Prigozhin's plane?
