I'm guessing it is due to the taxes, that are paid on it. But, I certainly raised an eyebrow, when I first learned of this. I read that in California, some shaker bars were open. But, those are closed now.
Mic - There are millions of attorneys in this country. Indeed, there is no shortage of attorneys in the USA. Almost all of them don't charge money upfront. They only charge IF they win the case and take a percentage of the restitution. Why doesn't she simply get a different attorney ?
CC - They really have. I have stated on here, that the first I saw it starkly happen was the formation of the obstructionist tea party within the republican party. But, it has progressively gotten worse. It's been horrible.
h - Who said, that people were getting more items than they need because they are yelling the loudest ? The article indicated, that Trump instructed Pence not to even return calls to MI & WA, both of which clearly NEED items. Trump wouldn't know, as he's not fielding the calls. Pence was put in charge of that, because Trump clearly can't handle it. Since that is so, he should stay out it, unless Pence asks him for assistance. If Pence does ask Trump, he's a bigger idiot than I give him credit for. I mean, he's definitley got his negatives too. But, at least he's much better at budgets, money and math. While he doesn't have a good brain, it's far better than Mr 6 bankruptcies and over 10,000 lies.
Believe it or not, I'm not fond of politics & politicians in general either. However, as the most recent presidential election has clearly demonstrated, not choosing the best candidate, or leaving it up only to others, can end up killing people. My suggestion is to vote with one's conscience, before it's taken away from us.
Unfortunately, there's likely going to be a lot more of this, until it gets better. We need an effective vaccine and to take the proper precautions in the meantime.
Mark - Both NY & NJ (the states that knew him best) did not give Trump any delegates in the presidential election. I do not think it is out of line to say, that the majority of the area will not miss Donald Trump being here. After his presidency is done, he's Florida's problem. However, the Southern District of NY is far from done with him.
Mark, that is terrific news about the rapid test. Thank you for posting it. There's nothing like accurate immediate results to enable proper diagnosis and thus start appropriate procedures.
Undoubtedly, that, and trying to appear as the "truly great" commander-in-chief, while we are "under attack" is his plan. However, I've seen 3 years of his performance. No amount of $$$ can buy my vote.
By the way, perhaps someone can explain to me why a couple making $180,000 a year needs any additional check on the taxpayers back ?
