I don't know anything about all those fees. My electric bill was about $45 last month. But then, I haven't needed any air conditioning yet and I'm not sure what the exchange rate is for US & AUS Sounds like those fees might have originated in Sicily with your godfather, if you know what I mean.
I still believe those GWB campaign contributions by Osama helped 'prevent us' from 'finding' him. Two terms of GWB and nada. Highly suspicious, especially since Obama hasn't even been in for one full term. GWB seemed more interested in helping his oil buddies than giving up where his campaign buddy was.
Honestly, I'd love to 'retire' there. I'd probably do something as my own boss, but not anything full time. I have some ideas, but don't want to share them publicly. Most of my down time I would take photos of all the islands.
For those who haven't been to Hawaii, it IS paradise on earth.
If you want to check out beaches, this is one of the greatest places in the world ! Black, grey, white, pink, yellow, green, or red sand. Take your choice !
The most amazing part is that except for a few very popular beaches, the rest are empty. An ex-girlfriend and myself explored quite a few of them.
Swiss, there is absolutely nothing you can do about the past. The good part, is that it is over. What you CAN do, is to LEARN from the past and live the present and the future as well as you can. With all due respect to a civilization that no longer exists, I'm fairly sure the world is not ending in the near future. But, you can still party, if you like.
Virgo - If tomorrow doesn't come, life ended. The last day on the Mayan calendar is tomorrow. So, people postulate that perhaps tomorrow is the last day. No one said it would be a full day however. So, party while you still can !
Frank, years ago (with an ex-girlfriend) I visited that Bacardi Plant as well as renting a car and going coast to coast to coast to coast and all through the mountains of PR.
"Knowledge was inherent in all things. The world was a library and its books were the stones, leaves, grass, brooks and the birds and animals that shared, alike with us, the storms and blessings of the earth. We learn to do what only the student of nature ever learns, and that is to feel beauty. We never rail at the storms, the furious winds, the biting frosts and snows. To do so intensifies human futility, so whatever comes we should adjust ourselves by more effort and energy if necessary, but without complaint. Bright days and dark days are both expressions of the Great Mystery, and the Indian reveled in being close the the Great Holiness."
I agree Ruben. However, one day it will really happen. Probably some huge asteroid will take out the planet. But, even if that doesn't happen, the sun will eventually burn out in several billion years. That's cold !
Doomsday ! The world WILL end !
Every day I wake up cheers me up.That electric bill is for one month here.
