I didn't find it a tacky remark. I just disagree a bit. I think some women may go the Med for a young stud. But if they do bring them home, they won't be waited on hand and foot, unlike the men who go to Asia for a bride.
Yep, tourism jobs kill your social life. I missed out on so much with friends when I was 20-30. They'd always say, hey, come over Fri/Sat/Sun - sorry I'm working. I'd say, come over Tues/Wed night - sorry they said, we are working in the morning.
Can't believe I then went from that to an 'out of hours' call centre same problems.
Tomorrow maybe I will go on a 'Tapas' trail in the evening, and watch that villages Easter parades. Sunday night meet friends at the local bar. Monday night meet local forum friends at another bar (and try to stay sober!).

Actually, that's a good answer, because if we each have happiness, then that would suggest that we have as much of the other things on the list that we want.
Been to lots of things over the years - Police, Sting, Led Zepp, Tom Petty - think he might have been the support band, most people left when they finished - Nils Lofgren lots of times, Dire Straits, Crosby/Stills/Nash, Joan Armatrading, John Martyn, Gypsy Kings,Rolling Stones, Simply Red, Ian Dury.
But the concert that sticks in my mind for sheer energy and enthusiam was Bruce Springsteen.
