I met my last partner on-line. We lived three miles from each other. There is no way our paths would ever have crossed in real life. (Even though it transpired he saw my neighbour on a regular basis in a business context).
I love iced coffee as well - but not just that cold stuff - it has to have cream and ice cream in it - lovely. Actually, would you like some of the cappuchino coffee ice cream I have in my freezer?
I do not think it is wise for anyone to indulge in 'rebound relationships'. Someone will always get hurt, unless those involved have realised it's just a bit of fun and not going anywhere.
This is an odd question from you EE?, but yes, I agree, healing time is important.
I like rabbit cooked Maltese style in white wine. Missha, remind of the name of the place in Malta that is renowned for serving rabbit in the restaurants? It's a village where they all serve rabbit. Then maybe cheese and fruits for dessert?
I have memories of eating rabbit overlooking Blue Grotto ( I got the brain! - considered a delicacy). Happy days.
Whilst I basically agree with what Ginger and Funx4u are saying, this is a horrible time of year for those of us who are single. I've just agreed to go out with a female friend tomorrow evening, and I have no idea how it's going to pan out, given that it's the 'Saturday night' of 'Valentine's Eve'.
For those of you with partners/friends/acquaintenances - consider yourselves very lucky. xxxx
Very interesting question. I've recently been in touch with an ex who owes me money, only to find he has been quite ill.
He absolutely broke my heart, first time that had happened to me.
Whilst I'm maintaining distant contact, if it came to the crunch, I'd be there for him. I'm absolutely no longer in love with him, but would be there as a friend.
And if my most recent ex couldn't do the same for me, I'd be heartbroken.
Err no, I was on National Express to Kings Lynn. Got hopelessly lost when I was retracing my steps. Always thought I had a good sense of direction. Didn't help that there were street closures on. Even the taxi bods sent me the wrong way. I also forgot I was wearing dark sunglasses, so folks must have found me a bit scary....
Yeh!! Can't get the cork out of my cava bottles, so many bottles and stuff I can't get open, can't drink as much as a man, have no idea whether my tyres are legal or not, can't fix the pull cord on my bathroom heater, I give up...
I quite like morris dancers - I like it when they get carried away doing the 'stick dance'.
My last ex danced when he was a youngster. In Spain, we heard about a local 'Morris' troupe. We went to see them, with notions of joining up, and thus extending our social horizons.......it was, uumm, disappointing.
