RE: "DESCRIBE" Your Match!!!

thanks Larry, I certainly will.thumbs up

It's so hard not to drink here when good Cava is €1.80 a bottle
(compared to £5 in the UK).(And water and soft drinks are dearer than wine/beer!) But compared to some, I'm practically a teetotaller.

Good luck to you in your search Larry. heart wings

RE: "DESCRIBE" Your Match!!!

Hey Larry I as ticking all your boxes until I got to (age) and the drinking bit....sorry. x

RE: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART? (BEE GEES)

UUmm then I think you must be very different to myself and others on this site who have had their hearts broken in the past.

RE: Wal Mart shoppers or Tasco for you Brits

Tasco? Do you mean Tesco?. But we have Walmart in the Uk, it's called Asda.

And have you seen the site

?

Yep, Jan is right about Spain, spent ages trying to get out of a 'Murkydona' yesterday, 'cos cashier was yakking with someone..

RE: can bad smell really destroy the perfectness of a gorgeous looking person?

I have developed a sensitivity to what I can only describe as an 'odour' on certain people. It is not normal BO. When working in a shop, I 'smelt' a lady as soon as she came in. I've tried to work out whether they are suffering from some sort of health problem, or maybe it's from medication.

When I 'smell' these people, I ask my colleagues/friends if they are aware of it - they are not. It makes me concerned about travelling on coaches/planes, as sometimes the odour is so strong to me, I cannot be next to these people.

RE: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART? (BEE GEES)

Ok, thanks for explaining that, I agree that is probably the case in some relationships.

RE: DID YOU EVER LOVED AND LOST,OR YOU NEVER LOVED?

A couple of years ago I met a lady on holiday and was telling her my tale of woe regarding my 'luck' with men.

'Well' she said, 'A few months ago my Dad had his 85th birthday on the Friday, and on the Saturday he re-married!'

'Jeez!' I replied 'I sure hope I don't have to wait THAT long!'

RE: DID YOU EVER LOVED AND LOST,OR YOU NEVER LOVED?

If you were never loved and have not loved, how could you know that?

RE: Scars...

I don't hate men jeepers, far from it. It's just that - as a generalisation IMO - I don't think a woman would have written this.

I say this because women are more emotional, and feel the pain of lost love more.

RE: Scars...

I disagree with this saying. It was written by a man.

RE: THE SINGLE CURSE!!!

Baby Monkey, you are 19. You have absolutely no insight as to what it is like to lose long term partners to death or un-resolvable problems. Sure, we have friends and family members, but they may not live close to us.

Frankly, I don't understand why a lot of people under 30 are on dating sites anyway.

RE: Am soooo bored!!!

Know what you mean Starstruck. But been nice here, although windy. I have drunk the wine already. A comment in the Gentlemans Club thread made me laugh out loud yesterday - couldn't stop myself responding.

RE: People living abroad, why do you live abroad?

You don't look at all scary Maisie. I'm another one 'dumped' in Spain - I like the weather, but it was his dream much more than
mine. It's cheaper for me to be here than move back to the UK and have to work.
