RE: hot talk

I hear yuh! cheers I didn't know we had any import restrictions on stuff from Pakistan. I'll check in a couple of weeks when I'm in Dearborn, Michigan on my way to another baseball game in Detroit.

RE: hot talk

I'm like dying to try pistachios from Pakistan. Iran's are great and Ali's got me salivating for his country's pistachios. Someone else was talking up pistachios from Messina Sicily too.

I hear too that they are a healthy thing to eat if they aren't heavily salted. Hi, Swiss.

RE: Internet Calls

I believe, depending on your cellular carrier and skype type account (reg. pay-as-you-go, subscription or premium w/video included:
<1> You can call any cell phone if it also is running the skype applet w/o cost. (reg. acct.)
<2> Skype to non-skype calls see a small usage charge per minute of 1 to 3 cents.
<3> include video and their is usually a premium monthly charge included @ $5 to $8 USD. Video will eat up your data package bits/bytes allowed. Some cellular companies say they give you unlimited data packages for a premium @ $30.00, but if you read the fine print that usually means a 2 GByte limit.
Hope this is helpful.

RE: Internet Calls

RE: Internet Calls

RE: what are your thoughts of Royalty?

laugh I was hoping it to be about the Kansas City Royals and Major League Baseball. moping

RE: what are your thoughts of Royalty?

Well, I have to give Dubai some slack. After all, they are the current holy grail of carbon emissions origin. They have great indoor down-hill skiing too! applause wave

RE: what are your thoughts of Royalty?

I agree with you about sportspeople being a bit much overpaid. Guess I'm on the fence with regard to the vatican though since some people do benefit from them.

Didn't mean to bash people living in the UK. My attitude about any Royal family applies to all and any of them.

I think the whole WORSHIP notion of their SUBJECTS is totally silly, worthless and useless. We here in the u.s.a. bash our own fearless leaders with usually no fear of retaliation because of our right to free speech.
wave

RE: what are your thoughts of Royalty?

Why don't they kick the royal bums out of the castle and turn it into an orphanage. Any money spent now on supporting the royals would then be spent instead on children. yay cheers

RE: Happy Independence Day Americans !!

Well, just because we enjoy our freedoms, including speech, certainly doesn't mean everyone in the U.S.A. has a say in where our military goes. I think That's not hypocritical but maybe your name is? wave

RE: President Obama tries his best recovering the economy! Republicans are just Moaning and Whining!

Interesting, do you also agree with Sir Winston Churchill' belief that, "We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." Hope so. Please pay my taxes for me. moping

RE: President Obama tries his best recovering the economy! Republicans are just Moaning and Whining!

Hi, Dude! wave

President Harry Truman once said:
It is a recession when your neighbor loses their job;
it is a depression when you lose your job.

In 1980, on the campaign trail, President Ronald Reagan once added:
It is called recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.

Today, many folks are instead adding:
It is called recovery is when WOebama loses his!
(or, It is called Salvation) when Pelosi, Reid, and WOebama lose theirs!

RE: Happy Independence Day Americans !!

Was it really taxation w/o representation that triggered the revolutionary war or was it the loss of prosperity in the colonies caused when the king ruined the prosperity here by ordering the colonies to stop issuing it's own money to help the king to pay for his wars at the time and further ordered all demands of the UK be paid with gold?

Our founding father's are probably braver than most have considered. They signed the declaration of independence well knowing the status of their necks if the colonies were to lose a revolutionary war.

This 4th of july is a great day celebrating bravery and freedom!

Long live this Republic!
yay yay yay
