Lol....ya I didn't buy it either. Ur right u have to 'sit' with ur feelings so that they can pass through n be gone. If life only came with an instruction manual eh!!
U can relate to the teenage angst feeling on more than one occasion too. Busy-Ness I think helps to get through those feelings. Always being occupied physically to help the mental side of things take a break.
When the mind isnt free to wander it will help u move into whatever ur next phase of life is. When the kids have moved on (not to hat I know what this is like) but it's a time.to do all that u want for yourself. Even things uve long since forgotten for the sake of being a mother to ur kid.
Seeing things as a blessing and not a change ..reframing all new changes as a thing of positivity and not a feeling of isolation and loneliness might help.
I'm not psychologist. ...lol...but alot of these things I've been told myself.
That's very brave of u to say Jac...I commend u for ud honesty. Our best days are truly ahead of us and I like to keep that thought always. I too get socially awkward if I'm not with the people I'm comfortable with
I too like alot of alone time to think things over...but also crave good company.
It's good u have this time to urself now to pursue anything u wish. It should be an excitingt time for u and I wish u the best out of life.
RE: I fancied Seafood so asked a friend to take us out.
At least ud be giving ur ding ding a break!!!!!
