No...see, I have religious beliefs in God, but they are beliefs of tolerance, so good try, but wrong.
However, in your attempt to shove your beliefs down the throats of others, and to recommend it for the world, you prove my point. Your very nature is also religious intolerance. Please look at your own posts, and reflect on this.
I agree totally with Vonney that the answer would be more tolerance of others' beliefs. And that would go for everyone.
So, no...atheism is not the answer to peace and the mature evolution of man, tolerance and acceptance is that answer. Anything else would just cause more war.
Not just Wicca...Druidism, Shamanism, Native American, and most Pagan religions. Yes...that's the walk I walk. I re-home mice to a wooded park (if my dogs don't manage to kill them), usher bugs outside, let spiders survive in my house since they kill the bugs...grow herbs, and heal what I can with energy and herbs. It's a peaceful faith of "live and let live"...and respect for all beliefs, since they're part of the whole.
In theory, I would agree...but then, humans would find something else to go to war over, so no...I don't see it as the solution for world peace.
What we need is for mankind all over the world to get over their greed and need for superiority, and to realize just how small this planet we all share really is, and the danger we've put ourselves in for living on it, and start working together to save it and us. Mama's gonna shake us all off like a wet dog if we don't, and atheism isn't the solution for that.
Hi, Sean! If you want, you can get into the forums. We have a lot of fun, and there are a lot of great people...just be careful, our funny farm is addicting!
All of those answers for me are...the same place they were that day, and now. And yes, being one, and coming from a family of generations of servicemen during both war and peace, I'm a staunch patriot and very aware of our veterans.
Happy Veteran's Day, Ship. Thank you for your service.
Vague memory of hearing about them...never watched them. But then, I didn't watch MTV that much, either. I like to listen to music, but I'm not a fan of watching it.
I'm a mix of my mom and dad in looks and personality. My mom always said that the tan line that forms from sunglasses/glasses is the demarkation line between where I look like him and her...top half of my face, my dad...bottom half of my face, my mom. And actually, it's pretty true.
Mom and I are both Leos, and I take after her quite a bit in personality...but then I have my father's procrastination and honesty, along with his tendency to always help anyone in need if possible. Oh, and his hugginess!
Not procrastinating, and being more prudent with money. Maybe I need to apply the procrastination to spending money, instead of using spending money as a way to procrastinate from doing things I don't like to do.
5'7"...and I don't know how to translate that into cm. I haven't been re-measured in a while, though, to see if I've started to lose any height due to age...so, I could now be a bit shorter.
My younger son is a Capricorn...has a great sense of humor, and is a very balanced, positive young man. He has the money sense of a Capricorn, though...he's going to do well in life.
18. What other people think of you is none of your business.
I loved that one!
Yes, the others are definitely a great recipe for how to live longer, better, and happier. Some of them I've fully incorporated, some I'm still working on incorporating better. Change is a slow process, but I'm working on all of it.
