JimNastics: Today I'm walking from my office in Princeton to where my car is parked and I see a construction worker lugging a large vanity mirror up on his shoulder.
Apparently, someone was having their master bathroom remodeled and he was hired to do the work.
So, as my path was just about to cross his, I looked him straight in the eye and in a totally deadpanned delivery I say,
"wouldn't it be a lot easier just to carry a compact ?"
He laughed so hard, that he had to lean up against a tree
and just for a moment, the mirror slipped and he almost dropped it.
