There is no bill, mam!

A humble man was John. He was humble in his ways and the things he owned. John was a junk dealer. He did not have much in life but he owed no one. His home was filled with the things found and bought in the junk he worked at so long.

Over the years John had developed an eye for pretty things and collected them in his modest home. But poor John was a lonely man without a wife to love and cherish. No one wanted a man that deals in junk.

One day John saw a lady moving into a small broken house. He drove by the house to see a woman trying to set up living quarters for herself and her little girl. John stopped and inquired if he could be of assistance. She burst into tears and sat on the floor. John assured her that it would all be ok. She had no money and no food. All they had was the clothes on their backs.

John went home and loaded his truck with all they would need. There was furniture of the best he had. There were pretty things from his home and appliances of like new filled with all the food needed for weeks. He filled her hand with cash and said "Good day, mam." She said, "I can not pay you sir." John smiled and said, "There is no bill, mam."

The lady got a job and soon was able to take care of her self and her little girl. If something was needed it appeared at the door without a word from anyone. But, she knew who had left it there.

The lady tried to repay John, each time he would say "There is no bill, mam". She would talk with John everyday she could. She would walk with him and they would talk of their lives and the dreams each had for the future.

One day she took John's hand and said "John...Will you marry me?"
And John cried and with tears on his cheeks said, "Mam...How can I ever repay you for loving this lowly junk man. She kiss him softly and said, "John...There is no bill."

RE: What Would You Do If The Person You Loved Gained Alot Of Weight?

I would stay, but for her health I would do what was best to get her weight down. I would not want to lose her or have her sick. If no health problems involved, what ever makes her happy.

If having extra money is a pain in the rear. You need to hide it somewhere else.

When I get a few extra dollars I like to buy books. I'm not into story books. I like books on making money, business, self improvement...etcdancing

When you get a few extra dollars how do you like to spend it. Or do you hide it for a rainy day.dancing

The Haze

As the night comes, it brings a haze to the mind and the heart of a man.

This soft haze lets the mind of a man vision the loneliness in his heart and life.

This cool haze sends chills into the heart of the man to pain his very soul with despair.

With the rising sun, the haze is no more and in its place is the real sorrow of one more day alone.

RE: Are men that cheap they don't offer you a drink at the movies anymore?

I made an ole boy mad once.

At the walkin movies a couple in front of me was having a snit about her not having a drink.

He had a DR Pepper and she hated them.

She was trying to get him to get her a Coke.

He didn't want to get up and miss the movie.

I got up and bought her a coke. Handed it to her and she smiled at me big time.

And he caught hell from then on. It was funny, he missed the last of the movie anyway.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
