Alas, I won't get to answer any of the bonus questions. My friends used to laugh at me for being the only Witch who hated horror movies and books. Sorry...not into the scary aspect of Halloween.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one who can remember songs from Sesame Street! I watched it with my younger sisters, then with my own kids. I've probably spent almost half of my life watching Sesame Street! Ah...and then I'll do it again someday with grandchildren...I hope.
I figured that he was the one sending them...I saw in one of his threads that you were talking to him on the phone while posting on his thread, so I know you're RL friends (at least), and that's cool.
I knew you were a teacher, but I didn't know it was in boarding schools. Awesome on what you're doing in that young man's life. At least he has grown up knowing somebody really cares about him.
Yeah, boarding schools...the thing that reminds me that money isn't everything. A lot of these kids grow up with nannies, then sent off to school and never really get to know their parents. Makes me glad my mom didn't marry the Goodyear heir she was engaged to at one point. I grew up knowing the love of one parent at least, 'cuz she married one of the best men and dads I know.
I've never read those books, but I've heard a lot of good things about Tuesdays With Morrie. I'll have to get them and read them. They sound right up my alley. Thank you, PPV.
I have them shut off here, and thanks to Hugz telling me how to do it, I can't receive them on Yahoo anymore from strangers...so, basically, I can only receive them if I've already been in contact with someone and invite them to IM with me.
Chip...the only time I see you on the forums is posting threads like this. It takes time, and you seem to post one of these once a week. Sorry...nothing further to add that I haven't said before.
Ah...the smell of baking bread. Yes, I've done this, and it's always worth the effort. I admit, I don't do it often enough.
Personally, I like a mix of the traditional and the non-traditional. Am I greedy? Give me a "renaissance" man anytime...and I don't mean someone who likes to go to Renaissance fairs.
That I'm not sure of...I believe in soul groups, and that some of one's individual plan can also be planned to help others within it at certain times. But, it makes sense that it could be part of the collective plan, since there's also the theory that we're all a collective unit, which is made up of parts of the one Divine...the only thing I'm 100% sure of is that we won't know the answers until we're on the other side again. Yes, sometimes I believe we do get wrapped up in the drama of life, and possibly cycles of karma, and forget what we planned when we came in, and therefore have to repeat the lessons sometimes.
I'm actually not the only one to have seen the albino one in that area. A father and son were in the local park, about 10 miles away through those woods (well within their territory), and also spotted the albino. They're rare, and the color isn't being reported by the investigators in this area in order to keep it as unknown as possible and verify the sightings of him. We presume him to be a young male, for though he's tall for a humanoid, he's actually short by Bigfoot standards...6'8" going by broken branches and the height I saw his eyes at and the other judgment from a distance when I saw him walking along a hillside above me.
My first sighting was at night when I took my dog to her normal pee spot...and saw red eyes staring out of a furry face not too far below me on the hillside. I hated taking her out there at night forever more until I got divorced and moved. I have a friend who investigates Bigfoot sightings, and believes in them without ever seeing one...and wishes he would. I'd trade in a heartbeat and go back to not believing.
Actually, I believe it's our plan that we choose before we take form as humans. Our plan for the lessons our souls need to learn. Many share that belief, so I'm not alone. Read Sylvia Brown and others like her.
Actually...at the risk of getting horribly laughed at and losing some credibility...where I used to live I saw an albino Bigfoot in the woods behind my house...twice.
I never believed in them until I saw one with my own eyes...the first time, staring into my eyes from way downhill. You know the old adage about seeing is believing? Yep.
Believe me or not, I don't care. I wouldn't have believed anyone before that either. I like where I live now...too populated for Bigfoots.
And yes, I expect to be laughed at...but I know what I saw. Nothing else I know of is that tall with white fur, walking on its hind legs.
