Ya know, you could be stinking rich yourself and you still wouldn't be happy I bet.
I am glad we have the stinking rich.... they give people like you and me jobs.
By the way, speaking of bandits.... Judicial Watch posted their non partisan list a couple months ago of the top 10 most corrupt politicians in Washington DC.....
And Obama, Pelosi, Barney Frank, and most of Obama's cabintet made the list.
But as a former Muslim, (and maybe still a current one) Obama has demonstrated his unity with Muslim countries on a number of occasions, not the least of which when he stated the US was not a Christian country.
So, this is predictable and expected in many ways.
Sure religions use the concept of God, but again, this thread is about God, and not religion.
Regarding Marx.... I guess you know more about him than I do....
So, tell me, what has Karl Marx postulated that has ever come to be shown as valid?
And I am sincere... I really am curious what he had proposed that ever proved out to be valid. I only know of his political ideas, which were of a Utopian type of theory, that did not anticipate or calculated for the way human beings behave in actual life scenarios. Consequently, they didn't function in real life situations.
Did Einstein believe in God? Yes. He defined God in an impersonal, deistic fashion, but he deeply believed that God’s handiwork was reflected in the harmony of nature’s laws and the beauty of all that exists. He often invoked God, such as by saying He wouldn’t play dice, when rejecting quantum mechanics. Einstein’s belief in something larger than himself produced in him a wondrous mixture of confidence and humility. As he famously declared: “A spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe – a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble. In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort.”
When asked directly if he believed in God, he always insisted he did, and explained it once this way: “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn’t know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.”
There are many brilliant minds who held strong beliefs in a God. And Einstein actually wavered on whether he believed or not. A researcher can find conflicting quotes by Einstein on whether Einstein believed in a Supreme Being or not.
Karl Marx is not a person whose ideas are very impressive to me.... his ideas have proven to be a big failure when attempted.
Further, this thread is about the possibility of a Supreme Bing or creator, not religion.I was not and am not talking about religion ... just the possibility of an Infinite Omnipotent Creator.
