Some ask why "intelligent" threads are no longer posted. Defining what is considered intelligent is beside the point, but these supposed threads always seem to end up in diatribes, name calling and personal attacks against people having an opinion. I avoid these "intelligent" threads just for the above stated reasons.
Intelligence is in the eye of the beholder. This beholder is not interested in a verbal gang mentality attack and will not dicuss my personal beliefs. There are other web sites to do so. I know alot of my posts are very light hearted, but they are heart-felt, honest and caring. This web site affords me the opportunity to tell the world how I feel about someone very dear to me. Some people may consider it fluff, but all of this wonderful technology is new to me, and I want to shout from the rooftops where the dish is located how I feel!!
That reminds me of when I applied to e-harmony. I spent 30 minutes filling out their profile to find my perfect match. After I finished a message came back...sorry no match for you!! They said it happens in 20% of their applicants
The Bill of Rights protect us from government. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights must protect the guilty as well as the innocent. Sometimes that is a major bite, but it has worked rather well for over 200 years.
